I didn't declare for stars but I did the bathroom and DH did the living room and hallway/landing earlier :) Kitchen was also done so I did well in the end. Should make it easier for this week! I did also dust and hoover the bedroom and will change the bedding tomorrow or Tuesday.

    Monday Mayhem..
    1. Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! It is Bank Holiday on Monday so some shops are not open.. the big supermarkets are.
    2. Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
    3. Have we located stockings?
    4. S&S the kitchen
    5. S&S the bathroom/s and loo's
    6. Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!
    7. Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
    8. Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
    9. Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..?
    10. Catch up on the laundry .. ironing is tomorrows job!
    11. Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card/present to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them...
    12. Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
    13. Dust round the whole downstairs
    14. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs

  • Please count me in again this week. I have an awful lot to do after the hiccup with DS last week and tomorrow I'm having my hair cut and coloured so that's either a couple of hours lost or a couple of hours enforced rest, depending how you look at it.:xmassign:

you'd better update on the old thread, or toots' stats will be out!

Two large bills paid (well, cheques written and put in envelopes for posting).

Filing done (I need to update on the old thread too!).

I need to arrange for my share dividends to go into my new(ish) bank account as they've just arrived in the old one, and then I can close the old one (I'm pretty sure that's all that's left). I also need to chase a cheque that's due from the sharesave scheme for cashing in a savings plan - and find out about share certificates for the ones I converted. They've been pretty useless...

Haven't finished the ironing, and still have a few bits of paperwork to do, but the heating has gone off, so I'm going to make my hot water bottles and head off for bed as soon as I'm updated last week's lists :D
  • Hi All!
I'm here again please, thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie!
I'm liking the look of tomorrows list, I might stand a chance of doing something off it! We had a massive wrapping session today, spent about 6/7 hours I guess, we don't even have that many left wrap for! the others all had to be posted so were done a couple of weeks ago.
I can almost see the spare bed now!
We've got the day off tomorrow so hoping to get lots finished. Right now tho I'm going to have a nice big glass of wine before bed...
