Ok Ladies,
I am off to bed, my DH and I have this silly thing that one of us likes to be in bed first when the fresh bedding is on, I am in PJ's after suffering a cold cold shower, new one ordered 4 days ago, still not here :eek:and he hasn't got his on yet and my car needs diesel so while he is away, am off up to bed hee hee hee  anyhow, I have been busy flying today while he has had fun with DS1 and the sledge so I deserve to be first in

Take BB out for a brisk walk every so often and try to do things that will keep you warm (going to bed may not be one of them. I suggest ironing
Arrange to go out for supper tomorrow - or even stay with friends overnight. The offer stands (supper is wild goose casserole, just so you know!).
Drink plenty of hot drinks too, to keep your internal temperature out and steer well clear of alcohol. Keep head, hands and feet warm. If you are staying at home tomorrow night, make sure you buy LOTS of hot water bottles on your way home. Then if you're sitting watching TV or reading, you can tuck yourself up under a blanket with a row of hot water bottles.
Thanks Greenbee - wild goose casserole sounds lovely but I do wonder if it's one you have to chase around as in wild goose chase!I have already though, (I think I mentioned it earlier) booked NN's bathroom tomorrow night so I can have a soak in a hot bath and wash my hair (I did wash it this morning so it'll last until then) in the warmth of hers.
I'm now off out to superise BB's night time ablutions then ablute myself and go to my bed with a jumper and socks on over my nightie! I've just sat with a nuked up wheat cushion and watched a bit of TV. It was nice to have that bit of warmth! I shall get up about midnight as I said earlier and pop a hot water bottle in DD's bed so it's warm when she gets home.
Sleep well everyoneI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I'm in again this week. Thanks to the special three and everyone else for the support and for just being here. Since yesterday morning I have
caught up with washing (one lot still drying and the next waiting to come out of the washer)
caught up with dishes
cleaned loo, sink and bath
made a start on the Dining Room of Doom - one small corner sorted
cleared and hoovered living room floor
cleared and hoovered staircase and small landings at top and bottom
de-cluttered bathroom
de-cluttered chairs in living room
went to Mr M for not quite last lot of shopping - now got £25 voucher
de-cluttered 3 bags of clothes/shoes to charity container
de-cluttered some old toys (picked up by friend/granny-to-be of twins)
made 2 lots of fudge
made gingerbread syrup
got last lot of glasses up from cellar - I think they were mum's (been down there for so long, I can't remember what's in the basket) and I'll unwrap them later
Not bad, but I really need to get the tree sorted! I'll see what else needs doing in the living room, after I've had a peek at the glasses. Shouldn't be too bad.
I've made the white choc/cranberry fudge. I've also made the same recipe with good dark chocolate and ginger. It's really nice, but thickened even more quickly than the other, and the surface isn't as smooth. I'll chop it up later to stash away. May need to hide it from DSs.
Good night all - I'll be back in the morning.
