LL - glad to hear you're taking it easy this afternoon! Please send my love Diva - I miss her lovely posts on here xx

Soappie - I did try making sausages to put round the room but Stripes thought they were toys for her!!! Monster!!! She is LOVING the snow! DD took her outside to play and she was in her element.

I've just had my first asthma attack in ages. Think it's a combination of cold weather and having a cold. Luckily I keep inhalers in just in case and took it quickly. Please can I remind everyone to make sure they've got medication in for over Christmas. I know it's been mentioned before but just wanted to say it again.

Things have started to thaw a bit here though saying that the snow is coming down again. It's so icy outside. I'm pretty sure my dad is going to use the weather as an excuse not to come for Christmas day. I pick them up but I pay for a taxi home for them (it's only a mile away). We'll have to wait and see - i've got enough food in to take a dinner to them and their present is a hamper full of goodies so they wouldn't go hungry.

I'm going to take my half hour doing nothing now.

Hugs to you all - be careful in that white stuff! xx

I'm miles behind and I haven't looked at today's list but I've stripped and remade my bed and done two loads of washing. Dusted and polished all the bedrooms and vacuumed all through upstairs and then vacuumed through downstairs again.

Asda shopping delivered and only one thing not delivered, which I can manage fine without. All put away.

I'll try to catch up at some time! Hope everyone's OK.

The asthma attack is reason enough to get the draughts dealt with :D. Sounds like you'll have to have fixed draught excluders. In the meantime, you could always try parcel tape... it stops the worst of it, but will make a mess when it comes off.

Greenbee - thanks for that site - been looking for edible glitter - too late for this year but I've bookmarked it for the new year as the kiddies think its brilliant stuff

Summermoon - deep breaths honey, aren't they frustrating when you have loads to do and they are messing about, I fully sympathise, bung them outside or get the colouring stuff out or give them housework jobs to do and maybe bribe them with a few pennies for each job [dusting, tidying etc] bribery works wonders here. I also tell mine that for each time they are naughty they loose a pressie off their list and then they have to earn it back lol
