I've now cleared the top of my main chest of drawers and cleaned it and decluttered some toiletries. I still can't see my bed though and DH has just rung to say he should be home about 3 as he wants a couple of hours kip before we go out tonight! Might be a bit of a problem there!

    I'll join you mudders!

Been to the dentist and back safely (it was -4)

Had a short power cut here so the neighbours alarms are all going off.

Just going to sort out lunch and do a HHC in the kitchen before my friend arrives.

Piggers - my MiL sent my first birthday card to me c/o our address - We'd been living together for 6 months but she was obviously hoping it was a temporary thing. It stings. Only she knows her intentions but you've enough on the plate to start worrying about a piece of card in an envelop xx

Dusty - Just wanted to say thank you for your lovely message. Dad and I agreed on the phone that it was a perfectly beautiful day today for a reason!

You always say just exactly the right thing.

    Love and hugs, Serena x

Can you email the seller? Did you buy the laptop from ebay? I'd be inclined to drop him/her an email and ask if its been sent. But then, if I was the seller, I wouldnt dispatch until I had the funds. Are you paying through paypal? The payment normally goes through immediately
