    Hi All :)

OK, its been going well until now... I think, the more that gets done downstairs (I have almost finished the lounge (yayyy) and the kitchen is still done from last night.

BUT....... I know that once this is done I have to tackle my bedroom and that is just the worst. Also, I have run out of black bags to shove stuff into and am not going out today to buy more.

I started to lose heart and then get panicky (arghhhh so annoying to suffer with anxiety and panic disorder). My hands are now shaking which is flippin annoying. Anyway, Auntie V (valium) is now helping me! I am having a little break while she sorts out my head, and then I will begin again :)

Having read this I intend to.....

Heap all the clothes on the bed
    Remove all the rubbish
Chuck ALL the videos (most are blurry or not good quality anymore)
Move the AirCon away from the wardrobe so I can put the clean clothes away
Empty the top drawer which I have barely opened for months as there is nothing in there I use!!!

I think once that is done I will be able to tackle the rest with no problem.

The big issue atm is that I cannot walk freely round the room as there is so many clothes/boxes etc on the floor (i recently moved and the ex keeps bringing me my stuff which I have no room for )

Thanks for the encouragment - My motivation is coming back now so after a quick cuppa I will resume my duties with a smile :)

    THANK YOU xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Have you thought of making a list - so that you can happily cross off all the tasks as you finish them? It is very satisfying and when you feel as if you are at the end of your tether it shows just how much you have done.

I also have a 'yearbag' rule; if I'm not using it chuck it in a bag and if you don't take it out of the bag in a year then chuck it. I use this for 'i'm not so sure' decisions.

Go Frugal - you have got so much done , and sometimes it is hard to see that when you are sat in the middle of the mess.

I regularly get into a state where we need to do an emergency clean of the whole house. I do 15 minutes per room, and then have every fourth one off - cup of tea, walk round the garden or whatever. I think I pinched this from American Flylady some years ago :p. Some great ideas on her site, especially round not getting more than you can deal with out etc. Try not to get bogged down in detail at the moment - do the big stuff first so you can see your impact. Try and add a new habit every week and stick to it. I started with washing up every night so the kitchen wasn't grim and depressing in the morning, I then added wiping down the loo, picking up the dirty clothes, etc so I have a little list of dailies that take me no more than 15 minutes every night.

Another vote for the Flylady thread for positive encouragement and support. I hate cleaning but find it tons easier knowing that someone is running round doing the same boring jobs.

    Yayy! Go You!

You sound very similar to me. When i feel down i don't clean and then I feel even worse. It has taken me years to realise this....am a bit slow sometimes! I really hate housework, but know that the more you leave it the worse it becomes.

Everyone has their own version of tidy, you will know what level of cleanliness works for you. Once you are on top of it, work at your own level. Do not feel you must spend 1 hour every day cleaning, for me life is too short for that much time to be devoted to something I hate. Good luck, you seem to be doing really well.

It sounds like my house Frugal.

My biggest problem is I get really distracted whilst doing stuff so never seem to get anywhere. I do like to set myself challenges though, like race the kettle (sad I know). I just managed to wash dishes, dry them and put them away whilst waiting. :j Now just the rest of the house to tackle.

Well done with your efforts so far.:T

    UPDATE!

OK, 3 loads have been thru the WM and am using the Dryer (sorry!)
Lounge just needs vacuuming (there is a bit more to do here but its acceptable, more than acceptable considering what it was!)

Have nice folded piles of towels and clothes which are going away after I have vacuumed.

Am feeling proud of myself now :-)

Frugal....I also found the US Flylady a bit of a demotivator

Whereas us MSE Flyladies are a bit mad and dont really take it that seriously

believe me I used to be like you.......but now I LOVE keeping my house clean....If I can do it anyone can

My friends( and fellow Flyladies on here) think I have been taken over by alienssmiley-alien009.gif

PS. You are doing a great job:T:T:T
