Hi everyone!! Nearly at the end of horrible January, its been a long slog but feeling very smug after just doing the sums and working out we've paid £304.94 off our total debt this month!! That brings our predicted debt free date forward a month to October 2012, so if we keep pushing hard we'll be at the Olympic party!! Was feeling a bit fed up this week but seeing our total go down has put a smile back on my face.
Well done to the rest of you - this challenge is the best thing I've ever done and seeing everyone else posting their payments really spurs me on :T:T
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....

  • I just went through my credit card statements and updated my snowball and am well depressed. The amount of interest I am paying is wild.My actual figures will be going down mighty slow :(. So long as they are going down I suppose is the main thing. DFD is Aug 2019 but really want to pull it back to 2012 as my income will drop then as dd will be leaving school and going to uni/college or whatever so I will have even less income then. Right really must try harder lol
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00
