A very big thank you to the Dragon, this thread is really helping me focus on my credit card debt, my debt free date was Dec 2012, I've now worked out how much I need to pay to bring it forward to July or maybe earlier.

I have a spreadsheet where I'm recording my balances for each month, so I can now say that my total balance has reduced by £294.09 this month, as it's also payday today, I've sorted out my payments for this month and will wait for my statements to come in February to get next months figures will be much more than this month.

Thanks to everyone in the challenge and GOOD LUCK, it's great hearing about your payments and seeing the amount paid off going down.
    Nearly debt free

  • Morning everyone

Another £113 off my total this morning please.

As I said on my own diary it was more than that but that pesky interest thing kicked in again. The actual amount cleared by the DD was £112.68 after the interest but I made a manual transfer of 32p to round it up.....my bank and CC must be getting fed up of little transfers of a few pence dropping onto the account but it makes me feel better:rotfl:

  • Happy days, it's Friday afternoon and almost the weekend! :-)

Can you please update by total, I've paid off £40.25. I was hoping to pay off much more this month, but I've had car problems. Whereas I would usually have put it on credit card, this time I used my debt repayment money.

This challenge is great, thanks Dragon!
