I've tried sending a message to The Dragon - but think I have stuffed up cos it says 0 messages in my sent box
Anyway the message was to ask if you could please amend my starting figure for the Olympic Challenge from £48,168 to £47,728 - I got an annual statement today for a loan and realised I had over-calculated the amount remaining. At least I hadn't under-estimated it as that would have been such a blow to my figures.NR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000

Hi Mrs Dragon:D
I wish I had paid 6.48% cos that would mean I had paid £3093 (big sigh - but can't find the right smiley;))
My fault for messing you about with my figures....but you will need to adjust that percentage:beer:NR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000

You're all going great guns!!
No further payments yet from me, but I did go to the bank today to sign the paperwork for my revolving credit facility (I'm calling it the Black Hole). I won't have a 'mortgage' as such anymore, nor any money in the bank as it all gets combined into a net debt (overdraft), with current account and saving merged into one overdraft facility at 5.75% interest. So the more of my money and the longer I keep it in the bank, the less interest I have to pay. I know it's not for everyone and you have to be really, really disciplined (I am now) and my aim is to then chuck every cent into it as I can.
I can't wait to see it and check the balance as there are some costs and wash-ups of interest as all other bits get closed off and merged. Bring it on!! :T
Will update my balance as soon as I know.Mortgage
Start January 2017: $268,012
Latest balance $266,734
Reduction: $1,278.450 -
Another £65.67 paid today. :j
This thread is really helping me to look closely at my debt and making sure every spare penny is going towards paying it off. Thanks;)0 -
What a great idea!! You have inspired me!0
