Well done to all those that have paid off debts and congrats to No. 10 on reaching your target that's amazing :j:j:j:j
A quiet month for me with just £245.80 paid off minimum payments only but as all my cards are interest free it all counts so £16,939.26 paid off in total.
It is payday this month only get one every six months so it is always a red letter dayso by this time next month I will be down to my last card and below £9k which will be fab in Aug 2005 I owed £89K on cards by the time I joined MSE in 2008 that was down to £69K and now just over 3 years later it will be less than £9K

Hi no 32 checking in:
Total today is £11,419 so £4901 paid in total.
Cheers :beer:0 -
Another £3200 paid off today which brings my debt paid so far to 25100 (79%). Best possible outcome is to be debt free in 5 or 6 months, well in advance of the Olympics (hopefully)...
As I've just sold my flat it pretty much means a 90% increase in my income which should in turn mean I'll have enough to pay off the remaining loan and even have some spending money.
Just realised - that's actually a 11% debt reduction since my last post on 10th September, not the 7% in the post title!

So I've been quiet. Sorry.
We've made great progress and now only have 1 card with a debt on, compared to 6 3 months ago! Granted it's a whopper, but it's at 0% for 6 months and is psychologically a lot better for us to have it in one place. We've also taken in a lodger, so we're on target to have it all paid off by August.
We'll then have the loan to clear, but reckon we'll be able to do that by the following August.
This is GOOD for me!!!0
