Afternoon all, #156 reporting for duty

My Virgin Credit Card that I'm paying off during this challenge had a balance of £741.71 on the last statement so let's make that my challenge figure! Already been PADing for the last few weeks so I'll update each month on statement date with my progress :)

If you take it as the £800 you thought it was then you are already 7% of the way there :D

Thanks for the encouragement Dragon  Today is statement day so #156's new updated total is £718.61! I'm really happy I joined this challenge as I'll be able to watch the figure come down and down and down! The Payment a Day Challenge is really helping too. Even a small amount each day is making a difference :)

Next month my total will be below £700 :j
  • Hi Dragon,

Could I please log a payment of £172.15?

It's going to be a quiet month on the debt busting front from me..... finally, after 12 months on the market our house has sold, and we have had an offer accepted on another house  It's all going through faster than I could have imagined, so I need to make sure I keep some pennies aside for all the costs!

Can't wait to move though!! :D

  • Finally down to below £1000, so a now at £710.15 left to pay for no 10, can see the finishing line at last, and am sure I wouldn't be there if it wasn't for this challenge!!

  • Well after a sleepless night, can't believe it now it's almost paid off have decided to really tighten my belt this month, and also use all my savings so that I can say I've reached the finish line and no 10 has now paid off 100%:j:j:j:j
Once again thanks so much, I really wouldn't have done it without the challenge as I was always going to start 'tomorrow', and had been for years. Good luck to everyone and keep up the good work!!
