Wow this sounds like a good challenge I'm I too late to join in?

I've got approx - £4000 to get rid of asap as I want to start saving for a YMCAfit course. I need some motivation to stop spending and start paying off what I've racked up.

Never too late to join! (well okay once the Olympics have started might be a smidgeon late :rotfl:, but then again as I may still be running this but for the 2014 Winter Olympics by then ....... :o)

Do you want £4k down or do you want to add a bit more and that will be your savings as well?

  • What a great thread - I'm going to join too if that's still OK. I have enough debt to keep me going til it's London's turn to host the Olympics again so I'm going to be realistic and aim to pay off one of my credit cards for this challenge. The balance is just under £800 but I'll check my statement and get back to you with an exact target! I already signed up to the PAD challenge and when I put that into the snowball calculator it shows that the balance will be £400 by the start of the Olympics :) All I need to do now is find the extra £400......

My Virgin Credit Card that I'm paying off during this challenge had a balance of £741.71 on the last statement so let's make that my challenge figure! Already been PADing for the last few weeks so I'll update each month on statement date with my progress :)
