  • Hi all,

only a few more months to go until the Olympics now! The end of this challenge has come round faster than i thought!!

Dragon, please can you change my name from Lisap84 to Penguin8410. I had a new start and a new name! I've cleared off most of my debts now due to redundancy and now have £4273.34 left to pay. With all my workings out too i have managed to get the final payment down to June of next year too so fingers crossed!

    Good luck all!xx :)

  • Morning. #86 thrifty fifty popping by.

If this is easy to do Dragon could I change my target to £12961 as this was the original debt I joined DFW with, £12602 was the amount that I had outstanding when I joined the challenge. Just wanted to make it tie in with my signature better. Would feel like a fraud if I'd celebrated my target met and then I still had a bit to go....

Anyway long story short, total balance before £12961, now £1300, so £11, 661 paid 89.96% paid.

Bring on the next target in three weeks today which will be £12.161 paid £800 outstanding 93.82% paid, can't wait.Three more months and I'll be debt free. Only took me 8 years to have my lightbulb and get on with sorting it out.:o

    Total £6915.88

Not a problem, have changed it on the spreadsheet and will change the opening post now (and ooooh three more months to debt freeness!)

  • Wow some great payments on here ...my 1st of the month update is a total of £9815 so £6505 paid since the start of the challenge (no 32). Positives are...under 10k, debt has halved from it's highest point of £19,800 in July 2009 and we stayed in the black for the whole of November (can't remember when this last happened :o).
