Boots after-Christmas sales - 75% off now over?

I kind of agree about the idea that Boots should put a limit on how much people can buy. Taking 6 or even 10 of the same thing is just wrong and it's not fair on other people. However most of the stuff I got yesterday, I did get 2 of - and it wasn't through greed, nor wanting to make a profit. My husband comes from a HUGE family - he's one of 12 kids, most of them have 3 to 5 kids each, and some of THEM have kids of their own too - so you can imagine how many Christmas and birthday pressies we buy each year!! Already this year there have been 9 birthdays in the family!! If we can save some money in this way, and still get nice pressies, then it's great!!
I guess to an onlooker I could have looked greedy yesterday - my trolley was overflowing and I came away with 5 huge carrier bags full - but every one of the 30 or so items I bought, can be accounted for by an upcoming birthday!
Either that or gifts for teachers at the end of term etc, which I would otherwise be scrabbling round for at the last minute and no doubt paying full price for! I only spent around £100 yesterday which may sound like a lot but it works out at an average of about £3 per item whereas without the sale, we'd have ended up spending about £10 per present!

So Yep I do agree that there should be limits and people should be stopped from taking EVERY single one of a particular item... but not everyone buying a lot is greedy, nor are they just buying stuff they don't need.

Just back from the large Boots in Newcastle. Absolutely nothing at all worth having - just a few food items (biscuits mainly) and a couple of the ITNG toys - no gift sets - everything gone

think someone a few pages back bought one last week when they came on boots.com at 20 quid went to pick up and asked if they could buy it back if they gave it back and it went back on the shelfs again worked out 12.50

Been to 2 stores this morning...

Parkgate, Rotherham - Lots of photo albums, Annabel Karmel Baking Sets, FCUK purse sets, Mr.Tickled PJ cases, Small Botanics Sets diaries and then just odd bits of chocolate, archers mini sets and biscuits...

Meadowhall - Lots of Chocolate, Biscuits, Mugs, Botanics Sets, Mens FCUK/Ted Baker Sets, Fresh Sets, not that much else..

Happy cos i managed to get a front cover set and accessorize vanity case for sister from clearance stand at meadowhall

Anyone seen any Chilli Pepper bags in south yorkshire?
Thats only thing i wanted for myself and havent been able to get one so far...
