On another note am i the only one not interested in the Chilli Pepper stuff?
Hi, sorry, it was the St Albans store in Hertfordshire. They were also putting out some reduced Ruby and Millie cosmetic cases - sparkly red ones with a mirror inside for £2. They also had some survival boxes, cider sets, ITNG sets and a few other broken/open bits and bobs.Busy mum to 3 gorgeous girls0 -

To buy something on sale only to sell it off for a profit (unless it was a unwanted present then i understand). That too at that price! I didnt realise boot shopping could get so manic.
Went to Oxford Street yesterday evening, it was choas, not the people the shelves, I have never seen a boots store so cluttered, and boxes were open, why on earth would someone open a gift set box and take individual items is beyond me, i myself would feel embarrassed if someone saw me do that. People were buying items in abdundance (3-4 of the same item) im assuming mostly because its on sale. Thats what i dont get why get a item solely because its on sale?
Are those GOK sets any good? is there a age range for who they will be suitable for? Have a birthday for a cousin and neice (25 and 15 yrs) coming up

I am sorry but i cant believe people are taking a hatbox back and trying to rebuy cheaper ..... there is saving money and there is going a bit too far. I think is rude actually when some people couldnt get one of these.
I got one when they went down and wouldnt dream of taking it back and putting the SA in that position. Maybe I am just too nice or dont have enough cheek x0 -
Boots won't limit purchases per person as they don't care, a sale is a sale. If someone is sweeping their shelves it means they can clean up and put out the summer stuff quickly and get on with making money on that stuff rather than things that are laying around still after Christmas.
I do however find it anoying that people go mad, they are clearly traders of some kind.
But.... on the flip side, why does the average shopper have more rights over the gift sets than someone who is going to sell them on?
Just a thought.0 -
No matter how we feel about hatboxes/No7 Ultimates on ebay, the fact is we live in a capitalist society and this is the way our society functions. An individual on ebay making money is no different in nature than M&S or The Body Shop charging you £15 for something they probably paid £3 for themselves. It's the rules of modern economics I'm afraid. If you REALLY want someone to blame, take yourselves back to 1979 and question who this country put in power. This country is riddled with Thatcher's children, like it or not....

No idea what happened in 1979, was born in 1986 but i understand what you mean. But what's done is done no point in dwelling over it.
Was wondering if someone who lives in London knows the answer to this, Which is the largest Boots located in London, i thought the ones in Oxford Street was big but i was told there is a bigger one in London but i cant remember the location of it, Im trying to buy these neutrogena refill pads and most of the boots i go to only have 3-4 in stock, I want to buy more because its both me me, my sister and my neice.0 -
Lots of Chili Peppers bags in Reading at the Oracle, and a big stack of purple bags (didn't look too closely, think it was extracts or Botanics or something?).0

Does anybody have, or is near a boots that has one of the fresh hampers?. I really really wanted one of these, but both my locals completely sold out very quickly, and i had to get the shakers instead....
Would be interested in purchasing one of someone if they are looking to sell it, although not at a major hiked up price please!.....
Also does anybody else have a spare Exclamation! perfume set?...0 -

I am surely not the only person to have bought something at 50% off, returned it and bought it back and 75% off. Possibly, the only person to have owned up to it. In fact, I thought about doing this with 2 items I had bought in Monsoon, and someone on here posted she frequently does that. I don't see what the problem is.
It was quite simple. When I collected my hatbox, I asked the SA what would happen if I decided I did not want it. She told me I would get a refund and it would go on the shelf. I said could I do that, and she said yes of course I could.0
