Is that your listing? I don't know about promoting eBay sales on this site, I don't think it's allowed and I'm not too thrilled about giving the mad grabbers a boost, either.

Went to the Biggleswade store this morning - not much there at all (couple of survival kits, some chocolates, some star trek things and wrapping paper) but they did have some cat and dog mugs, and I'd been hoping to get a cat mug for DD since I saw them on the website, so I am happy (and so will she be when I give it to her).
  • Can I just say in defense of all of us who have buggies with us, most of us do not catch ankles/push/shove with them. The people who do that would still barge through just as much without them. Sometimes though when you have a buggy it is very hard to get around some shops regardless of salesand its the people who stand in the middle of an aisle for ages whilst I am trying to get around that is annoying, I do say excuse me and normally I get ignored or given a dirty look for daring to come into a shop with a child.

    Right rant over

Whoever was asking about the Gok set this was the one item I got for myself and it is lovely, smells fab without being overpowering and I would have loved to have been given one as a gift at 15/25 years old.
  • nothing left in Ipswich, apart from a few hot choc mugs. Was a day too late :-(

Quite alot left in the Speke Retail Boots in Liverpool... literally hundreds of the chilli pepper silver/gold bags and quite a lot of the small boxed gifts. SA said it had been manic yesterday but was very quiet and calm today at 9am.
  • I dont think there is any problem with people buying multiply items if they actually need them, so limiting to 2 each would be rediculous. Saying that even limiting to 10 each would no have much of an effect as those that do bulk buy things for seemingly no reason hunt in packs anyway so between them they wouldnt have a problem.

I spent £120ish I think and every single thing I have bought has a person allocated to it for christmas or birthday. Infact Im lying I have one gok set that isnt allocated which I am just keeping incase something crops up. I love buying gifts for people and giving gifts at christmas, its half the fun for me. However I am by no means well off, infact I have just finished uni today so have not been earning money for quite a while and now have debts to pay off so to shop in sales like the 75% off sale is a way of me ensuring I get everyone gifts that I want to which are of good quality that I can afford. I am guilty of buying 12 R+M compacts but I had 30 women to buy for and I counted how many would like to recieve the compact before I went shopping and bought that many. Nothing I bought wil be on ebay, well unless the recipient doesnt like it! To some it may seem excessive but if you have asall family and plenty of money then I can understand why, but for me its a necessity.

Part of the fun or sale shopping is the dashing and searching... gives u a thrill when you get what you want.

However I do NOT agree with people being rude, aggressive a deciteful. Its not the end of the world if you dont get what you want, you live and learn, if everyone is orderly and polite everyone will come away satisfied. I also no need for throwing tonnes of every item in bags to buy them, or buying things for no reason.

Heres to next year :D hahaha

Thanks for that, hopefully there are at least 2 left, will buy for that and give them the presies i already bought, dont know about the product, but the box looks really nice and expensive!.

The buggy thing reminded me, saw a lady yesterday who was using her pram as a trolly as well filled to the brim with toys etc, and the child was standing one the basket edge thing that prams have at the bottom, holding on to the hand, she also has a basket on the hood of the pram which was pulled down, ingenious i thought, not sure about safety in regards to the child though
