So who decides what5 posts stay in this thread ands which ones get deleted?
Just because I point out that the OP is not as squeaky clean as he makes out (ie previous conviction for violence) see http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2122099 and that I pointed out that a cold sniffle is a different sound from SNORTING coke someone deletes it.
Just makes me wonder how many posts get deleted around here.
If he was really keen to clear his name he would have had a proper drug test by now as the longer he leaves it the less chance he has of proving his innocence.
My comments have relevance to the thread and there is no way they should have been deleted esecially when the excuse you will use to delete them is that I'm a troll.
It seems that only people that are backing up the OP wiull be aloud to post on this thread, I thought this was an open forum?

No idea what is going on with the post deletion.
However, I have got in touch with my GP to ask whether or not a drug test would be possible, it is not a service they offer on the NHS, and they told me that if it someone at my company who is making these allegations then it is up to my company to provide a drug test (no reason why they can't they have an Occupational Health facility)
Also yes, I am the only one who has the time to do all of my job. There is more to it than people there realise.
When I started there, the job was split between two people, and I took that down to one- me. Also various company boosting statistics have improved over the time i've been doing it over this last year, not all down to me, but they couldn't have done it without me.

I do feel a little angry with the company for taking all this to Investigation/possible disciplinary/Gross Misconduct stage, but i keep having to tell myself that this is "procedure" doesn't help my state of mind much having to think about it all over xmas.

You are just stirring 5h1t. It is irrelevant. And you diminish yourself by continuing with it. OP deserves the chance to move on from the past. One of the things damaging society more than anything now is that people are not allowed to move on. You are one of those doing the damage and I believe that the OP is far less harmful than you are.

i'm not stirring shoit at all./ he's making out he's so nice and well spoken etc but he has been accused of being aggressive to his manager and i just pointed out he had previous for violence as he admits in his first post on this site.. Dont you think there is any relevance to that fact? Also did he tell his employers about his conviction? I think not so they could probably sack him for that alone.
Again why hasnt he gone and had drug test done yet? I'm sure I would if innocent. Would you not?

Actually, very shortly after I was made permanent I took my manager to one side and informed him about my conviction (soon to be expired) He said "how many people on a site full of engineers do you think have been done for scrapping" it was then not spoken about again.
I started as a temp 3 years ago and thus never had to fill in an application form etc etc...
I don't see how getting into trouble as a teenager for a fight has anything to do with this. My reponsibilities and family have made me a a person much more rational and focused on my career in the last 4 years.
As for dressing for the job... I am an avid reader of GQ magazine and could ramble on for hours about how great Gucci's Spring/Summer 2010 collection is, and my wardrobe IS flush with designerwear and tailored suits. Thing is, it would be heartbreaking to get them covered in grease and oil and various other non-removable stains walking around the shop floor at a dirty engineering company.
Saying that, noone would accuse me of being 'scruffy'

Reason I'm asking is that someone round here thinks my post should be deleted but if your happy with them then surely they wont have to delete them.

OP should be allowed to move on, as should nearly everyone, from the mistakes of youth. I'm surprised that someone OTHER than the Op hasn't decked that manager yet, as engineers don't suffer fools gladly. If he was in road transport, there are a few truckers who would deck him for being a supercilious ( someone displaying arrogant pride, scorn, or indifference) t**t. Let's keep focus on the context of the thread and leave the flame wars out of it, it doesn't help the OP or anyone else.

I think you should stick to relevant material and let the OP move on. I don't think that the OP should grace you with a response - obviously he has moved on past your issue - mainly because I think people should be allowed to move on and others should not be intimidated by your attitude. I don't like censorship, I don't like culling of posts and I particularly don't like your posts for the fact that you post material which has to be edited
