ooh lucky devils having a lazy day. I have made a casserole for tea tonight, washed and dried 2 loads of washing and done loads of baking... Made 24 mince pies, 2 mince pie turnovers, an apple and raisin pie and a christmas cake.
Phew, shattered now. Just waiting for veg to cook for tea, then sit down for evening.
  • I am eating carrot cake while lazing on the sofa (carrot cake not home made - but actually a bit Old Style as was reduced to 54p from £2.19 in Booths).

Tonight me and OH are going to my mum's where we are going to have a Chinese takeaway - this is an extremely rare treat!

    It is freezing outside.

    Happy Christmas

    Love Anna

Well I'm officially an evil cow :D

I bought my sisters christmas present.

    I bought one of these

(except it was a cheaper version)

I'm just going to enjoy the irony inside before the guilt kicks in :)

Hello everybody.....cold and frosty here all day, some sun but OH has actually been wearing his gloves which is a sure sign that it is very cold.

We decided that the kennel we got Kerry the other day is too cold in this weather so OH went and got some polystyrene to insulate it, he did some but got tired so came in....another night in the kitchen for Kerry.

Dropped my phone near the local shop (I think) no sign of it when I checked so have reconciled myself to losing all of my numbers which is a pain. Left my landline number in shop so maybe it will turn up....

Chicken, roast potatoes and bokchoy for dinner, there is also some leek and potato soup left over from yesterday....for some reason I would rather have a box of chocolates to-day than dinner....really good idea for someone of my size!

Meeting a friend on Monday for a Christmas coffee and promised her a knitted tea-cosy in January as a Christmas gift this year so need to get my needles moving to-night if I am going to get that done.

    Hugs to all, keep warm

    Marie

    Well what a day .....

I managed to get up around 1.30.... threw some crumpets in the toaster & sat in my dressing gown watching the telly till it got dark :j

I haven't made the bed it will just get messy as soon as I get back into it..

In a brief moment of madness I thought about cooking tea, but pulled myself together and ordered pizza in .

Im cuddled up on the sofa now with my best freind " remote control

:rotfl:yep Ginny lets have the whole weekend

Passes you some chocolate ,and a large glass of wine :j

I'm on enforced rest today, having slipped in the shower and bruising/mangling shoulder. against the taps. Ambulance called, two lovely paramedics checked it wasn't broken (it hurt like Hell!)No permanent damage (me or the bathroom!) but are now tucked up in bed, radio on, floating on an ibruprofen cloud. Should have been on our way to West Yorks today, but DH decided we should stay put, and celebrate Christmas with parents in Feb. Can't blame him, really.
Don't like being this inactive, but I'm just thankful that it didn't turn out any worse.
    Happy Christmas people.

I winced as I read this-hope you are okay! My boyfriend did something similar a while ago. He was getting the rabbit out of the run and when he stepped back on of it (rabbit in arms) tripped over a twig and fell back onto the garage. He didn't want to hurt Rubyn so kept hold and did himself serious damage (although, like you, nothing broken). Hope you are okay :rudolf:
