Deleted - I didn't post on the OS daily - I posted on the 'non-OS' thread which was merged.
  • I still in my pjs and dressing gown (been up hours) - all I've done today is get kids dress and meals, and dried two loads of washing (tumbler).

We were expecting visitors but weather has prevented them traveling up, so I've decided to waste my day instead! Going to watch elf with bairns this afternoon, but first I'll spend a while on here!

I'm on enforced rest today, having slipped in the shower and bruising/mangling shoulder. against the taps. Ambulance called, two lovely paramedics checked it wasn't broken (it hurt like Hell!)No permanent damage (me or the bathroom!) but are now tucked up in bed, radio on, floating on an ibruprofen cloud. Should have been on our way to West Yorks today, but DH decided we should stay put, and celebrate Christmas with parents in Feb. Can't blame him, really.
Don't like being this inactive, but I'm just thankful that it didn't turn out any worse.
    Happy Christmas people.

Redruby - :T what a nice thing to do for the big issue seller.

    winterfrost - Happy Christmas:xmassign:

I'm taking it easy although I did get up at 5.30 and accompany Taplord on his milkround to keep him company but I didn't actually do anything other than sit in the van with the heater on and eat chocolate fingers:D

OSiness - not a lot actually:p:D just pottering around and enjoying the warm. DH is lighting the fire tonight and I'm going to have a long soak in the bath before the SCD final then lounge about in my PJs.

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend x

Well, what a cold day it is today! Hello to everyone! :D

Last night i slept for over 12 hours and i really needed it. Yay! My little kitty has been up to mischief today which makes me smile, considering i nrealy lost her in September. Her coat is so soft and shiny too. :D

OS wise - i made some potato bread from leftover mash from tuesday - thought it would be yukky by now but it was lovely. Had it with some bacon as brunch.

Loads to do but no list or logic to it. Maybe writing a list would help? Hmm. Today i was going to go to the shops but i thik i will leave it until tomorrow. Go shopping in the afternoon , get the christmas beer in and get a taxi home. The other option is several trips on my bike (beer = heavy) so I usually would do that - but it is quite exhausting! So am being nice to myself, and splashing out about 3.50 for a taxi home tomorrow he he.:money::p

Last night was lovely. pulled my duvet down and watched rubbish tv with the little kitty sitting beside me (in heaven, purring inher sleep), and a well deserved carslberg. It was gureat. Rang a chinese too - it takes me 2.5 minutes to walk there, but for once i got a delivery. I was almost embarassed, so lied on the phone and said i was babysitting and couldnt leave the house .:rotfl::j

    Leftovers tonight for dinner .:T

Hoping to clear the back room and have the living room tidy and cleaned for Christmas day. Then on xmas eve i only need to do a quick spruce with a hoover. One of the benefits of living alone - no one else to make a mess . :o

Think I might stick some Walt disney music on, pretend im a princess and whistle while i work :D:j:rotfl: Need to hunt out my "lil miss christmas t shirt". I wear it all year round, and claim it's ironic, but now i have a reason to wear it!:j:rotfl:
