Hi Swinstie - good to see you back. Glad you're ok. What a scare! Had a similar bit of a scare a few years ago with smear tests coming back inconclusive and ended up having a colposcopy (not sure spelling is right!). Thankfully everything was ok.

Morning all, not much to report, except only got 4.5 days of work to go before I'm off for 2.5 weeks, yeah! Off on hols next Saturday and still haven't got my case sorted out, really need to take as little as possible as I hardly wear most of it anyway. Bought a lovely bikini from Asda, it's really nice until I put it on then it all goes downhill, ha! Feeling more and more bloated these days, but hopefully it goes before the hols, if not, the bikini will come out next year for the cruise, cos I will be on a strict diet for that - just in case!!!

Have a good one everyone, hope the sun is shining where you are!

    Evening all, anyone?!

So glad that's me finished for my hols now, got another sneaky half day in tomorrow, have got so much to do, namely pack case, get euros, clean house etc etc.

Went to see SATC2 tonight, having read a bad(ish) review I wasn't expecting too much but it was surprisingly good, actually thought it was better than the first one. Maybe that was because Samantha was too goody goody in the first one and was back to her usual self in this one. Looking forward to the dvd already!

Anyhoo, going to have an early night as don't want to sleep in too long tomorrow, so much to do, so little time.

Might pop back before I jet off, but maybe not as think this diary is hitting the runway to oblivion i.e. I'm one step forward, two back at the moment, rambling now, so gonna say night!

Morning all, well I managed to get a decent sleep last night and am even up at a decent time, the Loft Creature was quiet this morning :D

Didn't manage to write my list last night as got in quite late, but here goes:

Go to bank for Euro money
    Get Euros
Get birthday cards for Mum and Nephew and some chocs (usually just give money)
Looking for small gold cross body bag for hols, have seen one in New Look for £8 but will look in town first, might get lucky
Get something for dinner tonight, OH bringing his case down and think he is staying
Supposed to go for lunch with sister and other sister from Canada but a) can't afford the money and b) can't afford the time - is that bad :o
Come home and get house in order, hopefully case sorted too

That's about it for the day, the girl I work with always says she has all this to do and more (and she has kids), but I guess some people are just REALLY motivated, or like her get up at 5.30am - eh no thanks :D

Have a good day all, it's great feeling more positive!

Evening all, well the holiday is officially over, apart from the weekend of course, then it's back to work on Monday! At least I have the Pink concert to look forward to tomorrow night then that's it, finitio!

Had a fab holiday in Portugal, drank and ate too much as usual, caught some sun but burned as usual of course. Healthy living starts in earnest on Sunday, felt a bit huuuuugggeee on holiday but decided it was because I'm so peely wally that I look worse than I am, seen loads of tanned but 'bigger' ladies but they looked good because they weren't as white as I am, trust me to be a Scottish chick eh!

Anyway back to reality, scared to look at my finances, didn't overspend too much on holiday but I did use my Visa so will have a good look at my spending at the weekend. Got paid today and now have a healthy bank balance as I got my back money from my pay-rise too, all looking good.

No proposals from OH but he mentioned tonight about buying me a ring soon so all on track which I'm happy with. Well night all, got the gym tomorrow morning, first of many sessions to get myself fit and healthy again! x

Ok, so back to work today and back to a whole load of craparooni! The girlie I work with did her best to keep everything ticking over, but she only works part-time so each time she came in more worked had arrived, oh well onwards and upwards.

Will be so happy to get the day over with, first day out the way and all that. Then it's home to go through the finances, still haven't done them, think I am slightly scared but it might not be too bad, I hope. Then pictures onto Tesco website for printing, only got the Canada ones finished before this holiday (we were there last August), didn't take too many pictures this time so shouldn't cost too much.

Morning all, well managed to sleep in this morning, a little bit deliberate as I was in such a good sleep and even managed to wake up without the headache that has been hanging over me the last two days! There has been a few niggles this morning at work, but I am trying to stay calm and collect and not let anything bother me today, I am in the zone as they say!

Anyway got my finances sorted, debt has gone up £112 since last updated but by next month should start coming down again. I'm still on track to pay off everything but the loan by December but it really can't come quick enough. Seen a gorgeous house on OH's mum and dad's street but it needed loads of work done, was two old sisters that stayed in it for over 90 years! No central heating or double glazing, huge bedrooms with fireplaces and a massive bathroom, could just picture a lovely roll top bath sitting right in the middle of the room, gosh it could be gorgeous if only we were in the position to buy.

Seriously considering putting my house up for sale and moving back with my mum, could probably save more money as well, decisions, decisions! Would that be a daft idea though *goes away to ponder*!!!
