    Moo-moo - Brilliant post;

Great news on the necklace - the price of gold has really gone up and you will find thar you will get a great rate. Shop around - don't just sell at the first place.

    Hi Swinstie

Just been catching up with your diary and re the kids business - as a mother of 2 I can honestly say that if I had my time over again I wouldn't have any. This may sound really horrible but it's how I feel and I know other people who feel the same way. I never actually thought I'd have kids at all - the first one was an "accident" but the second one was planned. I loved them to bits as young children don't get me wrong but I'm not very maternal on the whole and have no desire to be a grandmother either. Don't let what other people think get to you, everyone is different and entitled to be so. Hope you had a good Easter and well done with the necklace - hope you got a good price for it.

Evening all, not had much time to read or post recently as been very busy at work, came in today to 84 emails (was only off since last Thursday and two of the days most of the department were off too), 15 missed calls, 3 days worth of mail (no-one bothers to pick it up if I'm off) so all in all a busy day, goodness it's almost the weekend again already!

Will try and catch up with other diaries too, apologies for anyone's I've not posted on!

Well I got my necklace sold, ended up going to a place near OH, got £200 for it which was £20 more than the first guy said. Will never go near the jewellers in Glasgow again though, honestly the sales assistants (and apologies if anyone is one cos they aren't all like that), were a right snooty bunch, you'd think I was trying to flog stuff so I could go and buy my next fix, the way they looked down at you. Told OH if he is ever buying me a ring, he's not giving them his hard-earned!

Had a great holiday weekend and spend quality time with OH, feeling very positive about the future and happy to nudge things along nicely. Nothing much else to report except paid the holiday at the weekend so my Visa shot up but I counteracted and paid OH's half to my CC right away so it doesn't look too bad, will also be putting the necklace money into the bank to pay towards my half next month. Can't wait, 9 weeks on Saturday will be on a beach, yeah!

Well gonna have an early night tonight, also get my gym stuff sorted for tomorrow cos been naughty and missing it again. Joined a Boot Camp class (supposed to be starting this month) which lasts for six weeks, to get myself whipped into shape, will probably end up crying when they shout at me!

    Night all x

You're not useless Laura, just got your mind on wedding plans, seen your picture btw, you look lovely! I especially like the sound of the website that makes you look thinner - pm me it so I can airbrush my holiday pics!

Well not much to report today, rest of the month is looking a bit tight money-wise, got a 40th party next Saturday and don't know how I'm going to pay for it, also haven't given my sister my road tax/car money this month, I'm usually ok with that as I pay her as soon as I get paid. It's just been one of those months, look at me moaning about not spending time with OH then moaning when I've spent too much money spending time with him, argh! Not to be wasting time, but roll on December when I'm finally debt free, at least I'm still on target and I can't really not spend ANYTHING, just trying to not let the little spends add up though.

OH was at the shops tonight and bought me a present, couldn't think what it was so he said it was something I looked at recently! Not sure but almost positive it's The Goonies on dvd, one of my childhood movies that I still love. Nearly bought it in HMV last week but decided not to, he's a sweetie! Well almost bed-time, so much for me cleaning the house tonight, oh well, there is always tomorrow. Night everyone x

    This is the site LINK
I would print the picture out and stick it places to inspire me to go to the gym and not eat rubbish but I don't want OH to see me in a wedding dress until the day, even if it's not 'the one'- i think it'll ruin the impact 'cos I'm not a dress wearer normally. :p

Thanks Laura, that site kept me up all night doctoring piccies of myself and anyone else I could find! I'll look like a barrell if I gain anymore weight, eek!

Well was woken at 4.40am this morning with the sound of scurrying from my loft, I am really starting to freak out now, this is when I wish OH lived with me so he can protect me. Going to go at the weekend for a new water tank cover (scared incase beasties get in) and also a new lawnmower, thinking a couple of traps might not be a bad idea either as the council guy isn't coming back for another 2 weeks.

Thank crunchie it's Friday, guess I better do some work now though.....

Swinstie it sounds like you've got mice (eek!!). Years ago when I lived with my mum we had them in the loft and one night my mum came into my bedroom when I was asleep and there was a mouse on my pillow sniffing my hair!!! It had escaped through a gap in the loft hatch which was in my room. Slept with the cat after that until the council got rid of them.

    Have a great weekend!

Thanks for that Sun Addict, now I'm never going to sleep ever again! That's my fear, something getting out the loft and attacking me in my sleep or jumping on me, eeeeekkkkkkk!!! Yuk, my skin is crawling just thinking about it!

Well nearly home time for me, so going to sort workload for Monday, need to race home as house is needing a quick spruce up.

Have a good weekend too SA.

Morning all, what a fab weekend it was, the sun was shining and I spent more quality time with OH. We went to New Lanark, which is quite near me and spent a good hour or so walking up The Falls of Clyde, had to turn back at one point as we realised you can't cross the river so we would've had to come all the way back. We wanted to watch the Grand National so didn't want to stay out all day. Speaking of the Grand National, OH had Black Apalchi (sp?) on the nose and guess what horse I had?! Ha, I backed the winner, yeehah! Only had a £1 on each way so only got £15 but it's better than nothing. The reason I picked it, it was No. 6!

Had another wee walk yesterday at a trail near OH's house, I nearly slid off a muddy ledge cos was trying to not get my trainers dirty, jeans ended up muddy too so didn't have much luck. Was a laugh though, going to try doing more walking cos my diet starts in earnest, no really it is! Even gave OH my easter eggs to hide from me, was desperate for chocolate last night but didnt even succumb in Asda.

Anyway busy today so suppose I better get on!
