I'm sure you will enjoy it! :) (And don't tell anyone else in MSE land that I said this but it is only money after all! You can't take it with you! Oh dear maybe it was that attitude that lead me here in the first place! :p)

I feel your going out dilema! I have a work do next Friday, but live over 30 miles from the town where I work so always ending up forking out for a hotel! Plus food/drink/something to wear  And am so skint this month :o

Thanks for the recipe SA, will try it out the next time I make lasagna, where do I get sauce flour from, never heard of it?!

Well OH was down last night and we discussed the night out, he is now working on Saturday so I will need to go and pick him up, drive to the hotel and since we will be a bit later we will get a taxi to the party. He has given me some petrol money so that will help a bit and we are going to have our own kitty, I really hate kittying up with loads of people you feel like you are spending a fortune.

Anytime we go out we kitty up and if there is anything left it goes into a pot for holidays. We've done this since last September and have £60 saved up which we will use for petrol/airport expenses for our holiday. Means we hopefully won't spend too much on Saturday. I'm not minding so much about the cost, more that it's a week til pay-day and I am rooked!

Will put my petrol and hotel on Visa though so can keep some cash. Anyway onwards and upwards as they say!

Swinstie - I got my sauce flour from Sainsburys but expect they will sell it elsewhere as it wasn't their own make (Carr's I think). You'll find it with the other flours. It's brilliant stuff.

I will have a look in Asda tonight for that flour SA, hoping to make my veggie lasagna tomorrow night.

Well managed to get through a fair bit of work today but starting to flag now. Was bad today and had a roll on links for breakfast then one of guys brought in a cake from Tunnocks, it was so sweet but very tasty. Going to body balance tonight so hoping to make up for my lack of willpower.

Roll on the weekend, in fact can it be next Friday then it will be pay-day. Had to put £40 of petrol in my car, flipping 119.9p a litre, but this went on the Visa, have decided as my Visa is 6.9% APR, I will probably always use this card, just want it to be a low balance.

Credit limit is currently £3000, raised it recently to pay for holiday, it's sitting at £1200 just now, but wondering once I get this down to a more manageable amount, should I lower my limit? What is a good limit to have?? Can't be too low incase I need it for emergencies but when it's a high limit it makes me 'think' the money is mines to spend IYSWIM!

Woo hoo I'm at 55.1% paid! Just updated my ticker on page 1 and it's all going in the right direction. The biggest decision has been NOT to pay off my loan, I would if I was going to be savings loads but as I've being paying it for 3 years already the biggest amount of interest has already been added. I will however still be declaring myself mostly debt free come December. A manageable loan of £145 per month is not the end of the world, my car will be 6 years old in December and as I'm only on my fourth car in 16 years (I usually keep them a while) then I have no plans to trade it in for a younger model. Hopefully with some wise savings, my next car could be paid cash, wouldn't that be brilliant?!

Well, I managed to dye my hair myself tonight, needed done for going out on Saturday so need to go and dry it then head to bed. OH will be down early tomorrow so really need to get a shake on and get home early so I can tidy up, the bedroom is a total disaster yet again, think I need to have another declutter session!

    Well nite all x
