Already text OH to tell him I have visitors, he said he'd look into it but isn't down til Wednesday now (and not at all next weekend)!
Well been at work now for three hours, got rid of loads of filing (in filing cabinets, not the bin) and just about to head down to the workshop to do some scanning, gonna be scared down there myself. Do that for a couple of hours then head to Tesco for some essentials. It's a lovely day and I'm at work, boo!
Is that you going to buy the invites Urg? Not that I'll ever know, we were talking about jewellery last night on men, and OH said it just shouldn't happen i.e. men wearing jewellery and I said 'oh is that right, yeah well looks like that's never happen'. Of course he had a confused look, cos he was talking necklaces but I was talking wedding rings, ha!
So maybe all is not lost.... actually thinking it is! Ok, computer shut down til Monday, works one that is!0 -
Well, had quite a productive day at work, got loads done even though was locked out the room I was supposed to be working in, for ages! Left around half two, went to Tesco and got loads of food as starting my diet today (12 weeks today til holiday), also got the elusive boyfriend jacket been hankering after. It's not EXACTLY what I wanted but at £10 it will do me fine, so only really one thing on my list now cos if I lose weight won't need to buy the spanx! Have a 40th party in April but trying to source an outfit from my wardrobe to save me buying anything.
Black Belt for Jeans
Spanx (maybe) unless I lose some weight
[STRIKE]Boyfriend Jacket (maybe) - having difficulties finding one I like[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Lime Green Necklace to go with an outfit!
[/STRIKE]
As I said, started my diet today as weight been creeping up again. Current weight is 143lbs, would like to lose between 14 - 18lbs but will be happy with 7lbs
Had porridge for breakfast (with a too generous sprinking of cinnamon), the lid fell off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Scraped it out and ate it anyway, ha! A cup of tea and two (small) squares of dark chocolate whilst at work as didn't have lunch, then a small portion of chicken curry at Mum's for dinner but fell off the wagon and succumbed to a cup of tea and two lemon puffs for afters
First day on a diet is never easy, that's my excuse anyway. Well going to having a relaxing night as OH standby so on my ownsome (again)! I will not eat chocolate, I will not eat chocolate......0 -
Hope the visitors in your loft are nothing serious!
Good luck with the diet2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Hope it's nothing serious either Jellie!
Well so far tonight only had a glass of diluting juice (since my dinner) and now settling down with a cuppa and a tiny tiny truffle!
Was so bored tonight decided to have a look through my kitchen cupboards and found ingredients I had bought to make tiffin/truffles before Xmas, needless to say I didn't make them. Now why am I making truffles when on a diet you may ask??!! Good question, well I managed to make a batch of 50 by putting them in petit four cake cases (has taken me ages), going to freeze some (haven't decided how many yet) so that I can have a 'treat' as and when I want one, if they are frozen will take ages to defrost so I will really enjoy it.
The rest I will divide between my sisters as they are always making things and giving me some, so that will be my good deed, ha! Apart from licking the spoons/pot/fingers I have been good and not eaten any, apart from the tiny one awaiting me........
Night all x0 -
Morning all, had a super long lie this morning, only been up about half an hour, oops!
Hear some noises this morning from the loft but not as bad, the house next to mines is getting some work done and as we have a shared roof wondering if it just noises from there?! My mum said I can phone Environmental so might wait til OH has a look then give them a call and act scared and girlie and they might send a nice man around.
Gonna have some porridge with berries for breakfast, some home-made soup for lunch and the rest for lunch on Monday, should be ok shouldn't it, made it on Friday night? Going to help sister with house (after I do my own that is) then head home for dinner, bought a brisket as really fancied a Sunday lunch, didn't buy yorkies though, will try and find the recipe Faymjk PM'd me and hope I have the ingredients.
Will cut up the brisket, freeze some and maybe take some sarnies tomorrow as well. The best laid plans eh, all this was supposed to happen with me getting up at 9am today, ha!0 -
Ah what a lovely Monday it is! Been flipping raining all day here but now the sun is shining. Feeling in a buoyant (sp?) mood today as it's creeping closer to pay-day and can't wait to get my totals down, although have used my CC a couple of times (for essentials) but will be doing my best to keep my big total down.
Went for petrol at lunch-time and got my first £5 voucher from Morrisons, yeah! It's only taken me about 9 months, cos I frequent different petrol stations depending which is closest.

Hey SG and Urg,
Diet is going not too bad although I did eat a full easter egg last night, it was winking at me and before I knew it, I had opened it, oops!
Had a lot on my plate (awaiting environmental to come check out my visitors) - OH had a look but couldn't see anything. Actually it's more about OH that I have had loads on my plate about, it's all sorted out now after hours of talking, but basically I wasn't sure I wanted to continue the relationship as I've been feeling more and more single everyday IYSWIM.
He's been working A LOT which I don't begrudge cos it's extra money, but I've also been sat at home not seeing him and give me too much time to think, I start thinking all sorts, i.e. I'd be better off alone (cos I'm sitting her alone), and that after nearly 3 years we should be further along in our relationship i.e. moving in together, engaged or well anything. After a long chat we have decided we are staying together and are going to budge things along (he has confessed to being indecisive and slow) when it comes to us as he thinks why fix what isn't broken.
I agree, but still think if a relationship isn't moving even slowly then it's stuck and needs something to happen. We've not got definite plans, and I must admit until my debts are paid off (by December hopefully) then I'm not in the position to make any big financial plans. We're making the effort to spend more time together and now we both know what each other wants then it will be easier to make plans for the future.
Feeling a lot more relaxed and glad we could sort things out as I'd hate to throw away a perfectly good guy (suppose could sell on ebay) over issues that can be fixed.
Anyway, I'm a lazy mare today, only just up but feeling snuffly so won't be venturing far. Have a nice weekend everyone x0
