    Hello!

Been busy at work so not much time to lurk today, working tomorrow so lots of lovely spondoolies coming my way in March's wage. Means having to cancel Body Pump tomorrow morning as I'd rather come in early so not spending all of my Saturday at work. Should help with the sore chest as well, which strangely eased off yesterday but was a bite sore last night.

Got blood taken today for my itchiness and sore knuckles - has anyone got a large eraser I can borrow cos I think I need rubbed out and drawn in again? Should get the results next week sometime, or most probably the week after, hoping for either something they can fix or get the all-clear. Almost home time, just time to call and cancel the gym then it's home to make dinner, as OH is coming down tonight.

Have a nice weekend everyone x

Afternoon all, what a lovely day and I am stuck at work, boo! Actually been here since 9am and if I can make it to 2pm that will be 5 hours OT, not sure how much I'll get as don't get much OT.

My work is looking a lot less daunting as my desk is lovely and clear and everything still to be done has been sorted out. The office now has a nice new plant courtesy of moi (one I didn't like from home), loads of filing done, empty boxes binned, things put away in cupboards etc., I think they will notice on Monday how much I've done. I draw the line at tidying other people's desks though, no chance!

Have a nice rest of the weekend everyone x

Evening all, I am knackered! Just had a nice bath to ease my aching bones, spent a couple of hours this morning catching up on Lost then a good few hours scraping wallpaper. My sister just got a bigger house (council) and it's in a bit of a state, she got the keys on Wednesday, had to sign and say she was taking it then was told had to move in by tomorrow! Aye right, it is totally not habitable for even an animal. It is a lovely house, one that apparantly 20 people have been wanting to buy it (even though it's council) and many years ago the Queen Mother and the King (actually don't know which one, how bad is that) visited as part of a Royal visit, so we were told. My Mum used the bathroom and someone had obviously put a Bloo in it so it flushed blue - she said 'see told you Royalty visited', ha!

Needless to say she's not moving in tomorrow, the Councillor is getting her an extension, so it will be all hands on deck this week by the looks of it.

Well going for a cuppa with some more Lost, I am totally lost with it, still doesn't make sense to me but can't stop watching it. Have a nice nite all x

Just won another £5 on my scratchcards, woohoo! Second £5 this year and being playing it for months, and it reminded me that I have money sitting in two other bingo sites, guess I better be getting my dabber at the ready!

Well done you - I've never won a fiver on the scratchcards! To be fair - I've not been doing the scratchies regularly so I'll have to get back into the habit.

And you have also hit sub £6k:T- that's brilliant! All in the right direction.

    Waving

    Hey!

I won a fiver on scratchies this week too - nearly at withdrawl balance now.....going straight to my xmas fund....I will have a xmas of free money! Spent all last night on freebies board sending off for samples in bid to save some pennies :o

Well done on the overtime, none my end as end of year stuff going on but hope to have some this week and rest of month - i'm eager to work at the moment. On my third day off in a row and starting to get bored....this is not normal in Karen world....something must be very wrong

Hey all, nice to see you Urg, Karen & Shoe Gal!

No rock climbing yet Karen, think I am destined to never try it. Maybe I could set that as my goal for when I'm debt free, too busy bothering about money just now to have another expense.

Had a bad week so far (alot to do with cramps) but have a half day today so looking forward to that. Managed to get the house looking half-way decent although broke a bottle of vodka last night and lost the lot and that was me trying to sook it out the carpet as well :rotfl::rotfl:

It was sitting in a bottle bag on my staircase when something else fell downstairs and knocked it over, could hear dripping and wondered what was going on, luckily it was vodka and not wine cos it mostly was on the carpet. Oh well, have more bottles (not as bad as it sounds), ha!

Current debt has risen to £7,126 (or £5,726 minus loan savings), as just paid for my road tax online. Only got £9 in my purse and £94 in my bank (after phone bill comes off), with over 2 weeks to payday. Missed out on the overtime payment for March as payroll closed on the 5th March and I didn't work til the 6th so going to be a struggle this month.

OH is coming down tonight, I have dinner sorted, tomorrow I will finish getting house tidied, moved furniture too so looking nice, Friday going to a show with my sister, ticket is £10 so hoping to only spend another £10. Saturday OH will be down, hoping for a quiet weekend again. Got loads of food in and over half a tank of petrol, only thing I need is a top up for mobile and should be good. Will keep my £120 road tax money to the side for emergencies until payday, praying to only dip into by £20 :o

Long and rambling post, but need to focus again and not get spendy.

Have a good day all x
