Morning all,
You're not hopeless SG, sometimes there is more to life than the gym, like shoes!
Had to cancel the gym this Saturday as been asked to work again, yeah! Thought about coming to work afterwards but been asked to do 5 hours so would mean not leaving work til 5pm and I really don't want to waste my Saturday (not got much planned anyway right enough).
Well just over a week til pay-day, got £64 in the bank and around £60 in my purse, have written a list of things I need/want:
B'Day Card for sister (birthday end of March but needs posting to Canada)
Ladies Stuff - not strictly required for another week or so
Toothpaste - could squeeze a few more days out of the tube
Shampoo/Conditioner Combo - if I get up early don't need this (saves me time when I sleep in)
Eye Gel - could squeeze a couple more weeks out of this
Ring Necklace I seen in Topshop - seen it on someone and have been fantasising (sp?) about it ever since, think would get a lot of wear and it's cheaper than buying clothes
The only thing I really need now is the B'day card, if I go the the supermarket for it though, I will be tempted by food (trying not to spend too much on food this month as have loads to use up), decisions, decisions. Should come to no more than £25, less if I leave out the necklace (£12), problem is it might go on sale, it might not. I will think on it, not going for shopping til after work.0 -
Afternoon all,
Went shopping after work last night, didn't last too long as had un-comfy shoes on so was practically hobbling back to the car. Bought birthday card and ended up buying a nice dress for £15 from Oasis. It's black and beige print but looks brownish, can wear with leggings and gladiators in the summer and tights, boots and leather jacket right now, quite happy with it. Will be returning a denim shirt I bought from Tesco a few weeks ago (same price as dress) so no extra spending really. Didn't like the Topshop necklace, was £12 but looked like something from Primarni i.e. very cheap. If it goes on sale I might get it but if not, won't lose any sleep.
Had curry for lunch so £2.35 spend today (had brekkie bought for me), so will be a light dinner tonight. Making soup so think will just have that for dinner, get caught up with housework then settle with the tv, can't wait for Grey's tonight!0 -
Thank crunchie it's Friday tomorrow, working on Saturday though so my weekend won't be much fun. Didn't end up making soup, forgot all about it actually after getting engrossed in the tv, although I did manage to get downstairs in some sort of order, just a couple of dishes to finish but will get them tomorrow. Feel like an early night, so gonna pop Grey's on to tape and head to bed shortly, these late nights are not good for me.

:hello: Hi Swinstie - just catching up with you after a bit of an absence. Sorry you're having such a rough time with your teeth - although it sounds like you are feeling quite a bit better now. I went to the dentist this week, and all he did was clean them with his sonic screwdriver thing - that was bad enough:rotfl:

I know where you're coming from - I really need to make sure I get some early nights over the next few days before we go away - I have an awful tendancy to just do "one more thing" before heading to bed and that leads to another, and another.....!

Morning all, up early this morning (well early for me at the weekend) for two reasons, first, working, boo! Second reason, was woken by noises in my loft, eek! Have heard them before and just assumed it was birds on the roof, but now starting to wonder if I have visitors up there. Been up for a (quick) look but all I could see was some polystyrene that looks like it's been nibbled on, is this a good indication of a pest?? Please let it be a nice little !!!!! cat and not what I am imagining it is. What do I do, phone Environmental or something? Help!0

Eeek - I have to admit anything to do with the loft gets left to OH. Any chance you can get him to investigate.
I'm up fairly early for the weekend - washed, showered, fed. OH and I are going to get wedding invites. It finally feels like it is really happening!
Have a good day at work. Just think if the cash!
