    I agree, this sounds lovely! It reminds me a bit of black-saturn's maltloaf, but with less ingrediants (I think :confused: ).

    I know what I will be doing when I've dropped the kids off at school :D

    Just made it today. It was delicious & so easy to make. I'm going to have a piece for my supper soon :drool: with a hot chocolate. Ooooooh how I love winter. :D
    Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    I just made it as well!!!!! It came out great and I have to stop myself from eating it all now! I used cinamon because I don't have allspice in the house. Now I'll need a new tin as this one has everything stick to it will use baking paper on monday as I have friends comming over and I'm sure they'll love it!!!!

    325 degrees? My oven only goes to 250, maybe I'm being a wee bit thick (not unusual for me) please can anyone clarify, the cake is in the tin awaiting to go into oven.

    Possibly 325 fegrees farenheit? Your oven is probably in celsius.

    I hope it is farenheit, I put mine in on gas mark 3. It should be ready in 10 min. Smells lovely, cant wait...:)

    I pu mine at 175 celsius came out great but I have a fan oven so might be different for you if you still have the manual it should tell you
