  • OK I'm going for £50 profit on Ebay in January, I'll have a search around the house this week and get some stuff listed.

A good start for me yesterday in my money making for Xmas 2010.... I returned a hat to M&S which I'd bought for DH and was too big. The SA refunded £15, then when I paid for the replacement hat it was reduced to £7.50 in the sale:j. Just transferred the other £7.50 to my savings account, yay!

Good luck with the challenge everyone.

Hello Jam! I am gonna go for the £20.00 on Dooyoo for this month... would LOVE to do the E-bay challenge but can't until the baby is born as I don't want to risk the baby coming and not being able to post all of the stuff! :rotfl:

sarah - Im sure you will be fine. Plus 30 words isn't too many. i think i'll give it a go, thanks for the tip about topcashback too :)

    good luck Fed!!

Lucy - that is great news about the hat!

nickynoo - that's absolutely fine. You can have 2 gold stars if you can get £20 from surveys in a month!

Looking - no problem at all! I totally understand about the baby! Not long to go now hey!!

toochoosey- good luck with dooyoo :)

I found a thread elsewhere (HERE) which encourages you NOT to spend any money on toiletries until your current stash has depleted (i.e. if you still have six shower gels dont buy any more!) I am a bit of a toiletry fiend and got a shock when I did "an audit" of what I had so that's my personal challenge this year!

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

  • Ooh, I think I will go for the £50 at a carboot, I really need to declutter, but I dont think there will be anything really worth ebaying! So it will be a very early, very cold sunday morning for me! Good luck everyone! xx

Yeah after i said surveys i though i might be pushing it a bit, ok a lot:rolleyes:, but i'm not too far off my £25 threshold for pureprofile and home of research so i'm being optimistic i'll be able to cash one of them by the end of jan:D, i hope:o.

  • I'm going to make the money n DooYoo too. Got about 10000 points on there so far. Shall be returning reviews pretty much daily now.

Been up town today- lots of 10p-99p items still left in superdrug (crewe) but didnt get any because they arent in my thrifty gifty 2010 book :D Did buy a pedicure/foot care kit for mil, £4 in boots sale. And in Rymans found a book and pen set or little cousin ready for Easter.

I'm going to start knitting hats for people now ready for xmas 2010, I'm a slow knitter as get distracted lol. Also got given 4 ramekins which I don't need, so going to look for a recipe or something to put in them for a gift... wondering about mini xmas cakes for 2010??
  • Hi Everyone

I am going to give this a go, this year and see how I get on!
I have joined Dooyoo today and have added a few people as I have been going through this thread, I hope no one minds, my user name on there is
wela I will get around to trying to write my 1st review later on.
I joined a survey site a year or so back and had no luck with it found it very boring and time consuming, with no reward from it. I will try again on one of the survey sites recommended on this thread. :)
  • I'm in on the challenge, but can't get my head round dooyou or ebay so will have to go for something else, surveys and wozzon i think....hoping to get full pay out on this one keep nudging OH too trying to get him to join so we can get a bit extra especially as we are going away next month could do with the extra pennies
    :D:D:D:D:D
