  • not sure about the £20 things. Will ee if I can sell some of my spare smellies to my mum. She used some this Christmas. Hopefully she will need some for the next month too. Would that be ok. Don't do ebay-far too scared and too cold to boots ale at the moment.

Plan on doing some when the weather gets better so.....2015 then :D

  • I was hoping to start reviewing things on Dooyoo today but I've just remembered dh wants us to go and visit his Dad. I know, I'll take my notebook in the car and write a list of things I want to review, I may even start writing a review in the notebook and then just type it up this evening, I have such little spare time I'm going to have to grab any chance I get!

Definatley on for the twenty Pounds in Jan challenge. (try to get 10 a month from eBay and Quidco anyway so this will egg me on abit). Means I must actually use my dooyoo account and start reviewing.
Sad though it may be I keep a spreadsheet for every month on the points I get that month so should be able to keep track -but ging to have to be organised!!
  • iv just started on dooyoo and my name is laurarobby... would love ppl to add me :D x
  • Hi Whoops here - would love to join your gang of merry thrifters please :-) I'm on a really tight budget and there's always far too much month left before pay day each month!! So 2010 is all about how to live better on much less and making sure my lovely hubby and two buys aged 6 & 9 don't go without.

Bring on the challenge - I'm up for it!
In 2010 I would like money left at the end the month rather than more month left at the end of the money!!

Not sure how I'll make the £20 but I'm going to have a good go. Haven't got much to sell on ebay, haven't much time to do surveys etc and I'm cutting back my grocery spending as well as starting a £2 coin savings jar to pay for a new sofa... hmmm....think I'll transfer any BOGOF/3for2 etc deals savings over from my bank to my savings account. I only need £225 to cover EVERYTHING I need gift wise for the year :D

Hi everybody - please can I join too?

I've followed this thread since last year, but never got around to posting, but have gained some really good tips from you all.

    I am married and have 3 little ones DS(8), DD(4) and DD(3).

I want to try the January challenge of selling on Ebay, but not sure I have £50 worth, but will try my best anyway. I also do surveys with YouGov (up to £40 at mo), OnePoll (up to £17.50), Lightspeed and Pinecone.

Looking forward to a moneysaving and being organised for 2010!

    Thanks

Sorry I haven't been on for a while, I have been busy delivering/collecting the Avon orders. So if I go missing for a while every three weeks you now know why.
