I'm definately going to give this challenge a go. I don't use ebay (I doubt I have anything worth selling anyway :p) and i'm slightly confused by dooyoo, so I think i'll try saving up £20 in other ways if thats ok :)

That's fine well done Phunkles! You can still be "in" the challenge - I just chose eBay and dooyoo as they popped into my mind first.

Making £20 by the end of January any other (legal) way is fine! ;)

Spoilsport - my mind was working overtime there!! xx

Hi everyone, i'd like to do the best I can with money saving, as i'm totally skinned, and hubby lost his job, and aaaargh, so it's on the wagon again for me.... especially as we are moving into our new house after the xmas hols, and it's back paying rent and council tax and all those horrid bills again....

I joined dooyoo in '08 and never did anything with it... duno why not I like doing reviews lol...

looking forward to a money neutral *as much as my hubby will allow, money burns holes in his hands never mind the pocket, I don't think he's got it long enought to burn a hole in the pocket*...

    lovvies,

    emmy xx

Hi can I join up please, I am a single mum to five aged between 18 and 5 (eldest children still at home), we also share our house with 4 cats 2 dogs and 2 fish . I don't ebay or do dooyoo but i sometimes get surveys from pinecone (these usually pay for most of my Christmas food shop :j), and i also run a catalogue and get rewards from them, £104 in my account so far :j (I want to save all my rewards and buy a Wii for the little ones main present next year).
While sorting my bedroom out yesterday I found one of Dd's Christmas presents  so that has been put away and will become a birthday present for her in may :o. I have wrote in my diary that it is there otherwise i will forget........ my memory and organising skills seem to have abandoned me over the last few years :rotfl::rotfl:so this seems the ideal thread to help me get them back :T.

I would very much like to join in with these challenges, just need to get my folder out and get super organised, cant wait.

I'm Mandy, 24, live with hubby and DD 5 months.

Really looking forward to 2010 and adding a hefty sum to the savings with a bit of luck and hard work. Joining a challengelike this is fantastic, really helpful to keep me on track and I like having goals to reach, sounds like good fun.

Looking forward to getting to now you all and share ideas and tips! :o

HI all of your sig's have a sealed pot challenge?!? can someone tell me about it or where to find the thread! thanks x
  • Hi
I'd like to join in please. I'm desperate to get my living room redecorated this summer. It needs major work doing to it not just a lick of paint and every time I have intended to do it something has happened that has prevented me so I need all the support/challenge I can get.

I'm not sure how I'll do it but will post as I do it. I hope that makes sense, I think all this snow and not being able to get our has addled what was left of my poor little brain.

I'll go for £20 and anything else will be a bonus.

Ah Jamtart i did not realise we started from zero, sorry, and here's me thinking i'll do it no probs with some payouts due:p. Looks like i may have to re think my money making tactics, either way i'll make £20 cash/vouchers by the end of jan!
Just added up how much i've spent on acctual gifts and cards so far and my grand total is £9.25:j, and i have the majority of my stuff for birthdays and xmas too. I'm hoping i can get the rest of my bits and bobs needed to fill my hampers for around £50. Havent included ds or OH in that as i'm not sure what were doing yet.
