Hi everyone, I have not posted for a while, but I am still doing the challenges etc. Just been on valued opinion and finally managed to redeem £10 amazon voucher, so that is now in my amazon account, plus I have £5 in there from lightspeed surveys, so I have £15 in amazon now. I am 40 points off another £5 voucher from lightspeed, so I'm getting started. I find dooyoo really time consuming, but it was nice to receive the £20 a few months ago, might give it another go. I ebayer before Xmas and made over £300 to Xmas fund, it was stressful though, one person kept emailing constantly even before auction ended, I felt rather harrassed.

Just to point out the challenge that runs from 1st-31st January - everyone starts with £0.

Even if you have 3000 points in you dooyoo account...you still have to get another 20000 NOT just 17000. Where would be the fun in that?!

Everyone starts with the same, nada, nothing, zip.

The boss has spoken, she must be obeyed.!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::A:D

popping on to say merry christmas and stuff :)
im out of the first challenge mainly because i dont get ebay and i have the worst grammar and spelling ever so i dont want to do reviews.
in stead im going for - save £20 of cash which i would have otherwise spent which in short means - walking instead of the bus- save that money into a jar, not getting a coffee on the way home from town/work - save that money, not buying choc while out and about - save the money and take some of my xmas choc out with me instead :)
i reckon ill have mine done in 2 weeks :S which is reall bad but 17quid of that could be from walking home from work instead of the bus :S
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

That's fine well done Phunkles! You can still be "in" the challenge - I just chose eBay and dooyoo as they popped into my mind first.

Making £20 by the end of January any other (legal) way is fine! ;)

I found a thread elsewhere (HERE) which encourages you NOT to spend any money on toiletries until your current stash has depleted (i.e. if you still have six shower gels dont buy any more!) I am a bit of a toiletry fiend and got a shock when I did "an audit" of what I had so that's my personal challenge this year!

Hi Jammy, you could also try the 100 day challenge on DFW board of which I am a fully paid up member due to my previous toilettry and make up addiction. I have worked hard on this and sold lots on ebay this year.

The premise is to aim to not to buy whatever you set for the 100 days of the challenge

Ok folks...the first challenge for 2010

Make either £50 on eBay/car boot/attic sale (after having a clear out) by 31st January.

Please post your finds here when you are having a sort out as it might jog other people's memories and help them remember what is lurking in their cupboards that could be sold!

I'll try for ebay then please!

I have sold unused make up, skincare, bath products, nail varnishes. Also kitchen items that I didn't use, a cuddly toy, clothes, bags I no longer used that were in good condition, shoes, furniture that was not needed in fact anything I did not need. There hasn't been one thing I have sold that I have missed.

Still to go is a bit more skincare, a bit of furniture, clothing and shoes then onto craft supplies I bought and will not use as I have tons of the stuff
