I'm going to try to take part in this this year. I'm a single mum to DD who's 9 in April. I do voluntary work 5 days a week in DD's school as a teaching/general assistant (I help out where-ever I'm needed
) and I'm also a OU student (staring 2 level 2 courses at the end of Jan  both in ICT). I'm aiming to spend as little as possible on gifts and earn as much as possible in vouchers etc to cover costs this year, as things are so tight they're squeaking now
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Welcome one and all!!
I always feel guilty if some people get "ignored" or dont have their posts acknowledged but let it be known, everyone is always welcome, it is not clickey and we'll take anyone to be honest!Just sometimes I don't always get chance to respond to every post....but they are all welcome and all loved!!
welcome too nicki! good luck with your course!

well done nickynoo!! Ive got £94 on my advantage card for the 75% sale - but don't think I'll spend it all - I didn't last year but I need even less this year.
I might buy something big - like GHDs or a chanel perfume? with the points and sell them on eBay for cash instead.

I've started Toluna again too now - got an amazon voucher from it in September time but decided to start again - I just think it takes so long to not get so much, but when I've got nothing to do I might as well!Sealed Pot challenge #508

Thanks Jamtart, think i've got £48odd left on my boots card but i'm trying to keep them for baby things due in 14wks so i'll be needing them.
It sounds like a good idea to buy summat like ghd's and sell em online for the cash, would never have thought of doing that£387.39/£196.46
