Although a long time MSE fan only just recently started MSing. Signed up with Gap, RE and TNS and have so far picked up a few golden arches (completed) and a biscuit outlet.....
Have a few corner shops lined up for the new year to.
I have one question to the experienced though......what does my score mean on RE ? I have done one job on time and reported on ime and got 12 points, but what does 12 points mean?
Will I get offered better jobs if I have a higher score?
As to what the points actually mean, the general consensus seems to be absolutely nothing. It's like a little sticker chart to keep us motivated, but doesn't seem to have any impact at all on what jobs are offered to you.0 -
With RE, you should get 10 points as a basic score for completing a job, plus 2 points if you do it on the day that you first selected. They knock points off for proof reading queries in theory. They also knock points off if you do the report late and 2 points for cancelling a job. You get 1 point for doing some of the surveys.

LOL.....OK, so I wont hold out on getting the mother of all jobs as my score rises!!!!!
Thanks
Another question - what sort of work do Gap get? All I have seen to date is fast food?0 -

Had two jobs yesterday which I had to cancel due to bad weather. Was offered to reschedule them but I wasn't sure if I could realistically do them as another severe weather warning is forecast for this afternoon in East Anglia and I could only do the jobs after work. Had to cancel them altogether unfortunately which I did not like doing but did not want to mess the MS company around. Have nothing scheduled until the New Year now.
Bare money in today!0 -

Better than risking getting stuck or crashing your car. I am thinking of trying comping too now as I have given up work to look after my mum who has Alzheimers disease. Do you still have to come up with snazzy slogans. Lucky you and well done on the Sydney trip.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

The main roads round here aren't a problem, it is just some of the smaller ones which don't get gritted. Plus don't fancy driving in a blizzard if it does snow again later as it is a 20 minute drive each way to where I had to go. If it was local, I would have walked.
Going off topic, have a look at the comps board on here. Loads of different competitions are posted. Very few require a slogan these days and in most cases, you are simply required to just fill in your contact details. Sometimes there is a question to answer but usually you can find the answer in the text.0 -

hi guy need some urgent help here:
in an assignment: shop day is : 21/ 12 (which is today). time frame is mon - thur.
is that mean today is the only day to sign up than i can do this assignment over the next few days (mon - thur)?
quick reply will be useful thxparty Animal :rotfl::j:rotfl:0 -
That sounds like an assignment that someone has dropped and today is the last day to do it.
If you can do it on another day, it's worth ringing the company to ask if they can extend the date for you. The same thing happened to me last Monday with Grass Roots, but as I was going to the town where the job was on the Tuesday, they extended the date for me.Here I go again on my own....0 -
thx becles
will contact the company hoping can pick up a free big mac on my way to an appointment 2moro
and wish the xma spirit will survive under the weather condition.party Animal :rotfl::j:rotfl:0
