I registered as Self Employed, but have noticed a Self Assessment tax advert on the TV today, stating tax returns need to be in by tomorrow. Is this for the period April 08-09? Or do I have to get my bum into gear and get my tax sorted asap????

It's for 08-09, you should get something for 09-10 after April this year.

Assuming you registered with HMRC as self employed when you started MSing, this will trigger a requirement to fill in a tax return and you will receive a notice to do so in due course.

May have a Perth Post Code but Arisaig is about 140 miles from Perth on West Coast - just before Mallaig!!!!

Did anyone do tapas this week for RE? mine is still pending - don't know whether they a)just haven't got round to checking it b)are querying it as we had a long wait to be seated or c) they are hanging on to it so it does't fall into the next payment run....

Anyone still waiting on theirs?

TG is just going to check, it was still pending last time I looked .....
