Hello - I am new to this section of MSE - I usually only visit the competitions section or money savers to help me save money and reduce debt! Have been job hunting with no success at all - even interviews are hard to come by and have read through this thread with growing interest.
May I ask do any of you use MS to provide your only self employed income or do most of you work and supplement with MS. I will follow up the self employment advice on Monday and get in touch with tax office etc but seriously considering trying to arrange as many jobs as possible to try to provide me and family with an income (will need to be supplemented with tax C but hate not being in work)...
any advice etc very much appreciated0 -

Most of us will also answer to Del Boy/Girl but we do try to share (as long as we don't think we will suffer from the competition of course!)
Welcome to the thread, MSing does become adictive although the shine does come and go depending on the amount of work etc.
Where in the world do you hale from? You may find you have a local on here.Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

I think you will find that we will turn our hand to most things..... as long as someone will pay us for it.... hmmm that sounds worse than I meant!

Sounded exactly right to me. :rotfl:
Mharzuk is right most of us do some other type of job too although not all, and as long as you don't expect to earn a fortune it can be rewarding - though not necessarily financially - if you're on some kind of benefits you may need to check what the thresholds are before it starts to impact you but I would imagine that the jobcentre staff/tax office staff should be able to advise better. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

The envelopes are payment from ABAI, who for some reason don't pay by BACS like everyone else. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
