Many thanks again for all your lovely messages.
I am now booked in for ERPC on Friday. Bleeding a bit more now with some cramps, and now that I have made the decision to have the op, I really hope I can hang on.
Don't really want to have to deal with a miscarriage at home by myself. Dh got to work today despite the snow, but will have to stay there tonight as we are forecast to have more snow this pm.
Gonna have a duvet, hot water bottle, good book and comfort food kind of day. Apart from having my friend's kids round as they are off school, and she has to work. Will send all the kids out in the snow and just chill. Hopefully.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Mother Kitty. I am so glad you ended up with 2 children. I was just saying to my husband the other day, that it would have been so much worse if, for example, we had had our last chance with IVF and then lost the baby. It must be devastating to be in that position.
Sorry to hear your sad news. It happened to me after my final ivf, it was awful, I had the D&C as it had already dragged on too long. Two months later I found out I was pregnant naturally (something of a miracle) and he's now 6 and out in the snow.
Hope things work out for you.0 -

Just popping in to say it's all done now. Went in on Friday and had an ERPC. Some pain immediately after i woke up, but had some morphine and that did the trick. Ended up staying overnight as I couldn't wee, and went home SSat morning.
I had 2 days of rest at home. The sister on the ward told me to take rest, so I did. I could have probably done normal housework etc yesterday, but OH was off, so, on principle, I stayed in my PJs and let him cook and take the kids out in the snow!
So today is a new start for me. I'm raring to go. I don't go out to work, so I'm going to get back into healthy eating, spring (winter maybe?) cleaning, and back to a normal routine.
Thanks so much once again for all your support and kindness over the past few weeks.
And maybe, just maybe, a little miracle may happen for us again.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

I've been reading your thread but didn't post because I don't have any experience at all in what you've been going through. But just wanted to offer sympathies and wish you lots of luck over the next little while and a speedy recovery.0 -
Best to keep busy I find and not dwell on things. I moved house within two weeks of my miscarraige so didnt have time to dwell on things. Wish all all the best. x x x0

Well I do have a recipe for treacle bread although I have never dared make it since I've been trying to lose weight since 2003 with not a great amount of success :rotfl:- DH's auntie gave me the recipe and it sounded lovely, do you want me to have a dig and see if I can find it?
You know you don't often see them in shops any more even here, bit of a shame really!0 -
I'd love the recipe if you can find it belfastgirl. PM it to me. Why don't you come onto the other thread I'm on, the Paul McKenna can make you thin. Here is the link. It really does work!!!!!
