I bought a Beconase spray (100) from my local Lloyds chemist recently and it cost £9.89! I nearly dropped but had to have it as it was Sunday and everywhere else locally was closed and he was desperate. Last time I go there, needless to say. I felt like I had been ripped off.

Free postage is back on our site, but if the site is abused, this will be withdrawn. Please keep purchases sensible.
Hi Sam,
Can you explain what you mean by abuse?
Sorry if I'm being thick, but it's not clear to me what you mean by abuse.
I presume it's better for you to sell items together, so do you mean small purchases are "abuse".
Thanks for the clarification.0 -

Have just ordered 60 Hayfever loretadine tablets for £2.98 delivered. Boots online wanted over £11 incl £3.50 pp with BOGOF (60 tablets). Tried Boots in the high street to save p&p but only ever have packets of 7 (more expensive per tablet), the packets of 30 are always out of stock. Great idea to buy medicine's online at discount, I never thought of it before. Cheers.0 -
Last week I bought Tesco own brand hay fever tablets in packs of 30. They were offering 2 for 1 and cost £3.35. They had the same active ingredient as the branded ones they sold.0

I'm sure others llike me are only affected by specific types of pollen found in the UK. I have hay fever from June to Aug every year, yet if I am on holiday abroad at this time I am free of all symptoms. This results in the problem being "forgotten" about until I get back home. On one trip I had to venture into a chemist shop (dodgy tum) and while there thought to ask if I could buy Piriton. The chemist after referring to a large book offered Chlorphenamine maleate (the active ingredient in Piriton) available to buy loose. Cutting to the chase, I bought a jar of 1000 tabs for about £5. Moral, Check out foreign pharmacy prices while you are on holiday you could save a packet.
P.S. I was in Bangok at the time but Spain, France, Greece, US, etc can all do the same.0 -
Nice one for the heads up. Just to let you know, I ordered some of the 30 pack earlier today, and the minimum order is now four packs.0

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but does anybody know of cheap alternatives to the Benadryl fast-acting 8-hour capsules?
They contain something called Acrivastine (http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/30002730/). My boyfriend takes them, as he says the one-a-day tablets don't work for him - although I have been trying to convince him to test the ones I take, just in case...0 -

Hi There
I have just come back from a week in Portugal...and NO SYMPTOMS whatsoever! Yet I constantly want to scratch my eyes out every day here in the UK and feel I have a permanent cold! I only strated to get hayfever 3 years ago, I am now 29 and it seems to have gotten worse each year since then!.
Unfortunately though...I AM PREGNANT and my Doctor says I can't take anything! DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY HOME REMEDIES OR ANYTHING SIMILAR FOR PREGNANT WOMEN WITH HAYFEVER??
Many Thanks, Kat.0
