sorry if someone has already said this, but went on the chemist4u website and the free postage is on the box of 7s not 30s, but it still a good deal if you go with 2nd class postage.........as long as you are not in a desperate rush of course, but that's another thread!
  • Superdrug are also offering "Buy one get one free" on :-

Galpharm CD tablets at 99p for a packet of 7

    - that's 49p per packet -I bought these at the Maidstone branch yesterday - best deal yet!???

OK, I can see the 30 tablets for 99p, but it's charging me for p&p which Martin said above was included... has this expired already, or what?

Yes, the free postage seems to have ended now :(

However I've just ordered 10 packs of the tablets at 99p for 30, and 3 bottles of eyedrops. Even bearing in mind the (quite hefty!) postage cost, I've still saved over £20 on the tablets alone (I usually buy 7 for 99p from Tesco).

They've also got great deals on other things, including Clarins moisturiser and YSL Touche Eclat.

The generic paracetamol etc. don't seem to be much/any cheaper than Tesco.

  • Hi,

I have always found that Piriton tablets always tend to control my hayfever, and my local chemists, Horner Pharmacy in Comber County Down seem to do the best deal.
Instead of buying the Piriton tablets in packet form , they sell them loose at just 18p for 10 !!!!!! So, i can buy 100 for just £1.80 which will cover me for the whole of the summer.

Compare that with Boots selling 30 Tablets in the packet form for £3.39 and thats a bargain in anyones book!!

My advice is ask your local pharmisist to see if they do similar deals.

    Get out there and save!!
  • I have just tried to buy the hayfever tablets (Zirtek) from chemist-4-u but it is only the 7 tablets pack that is postage free not the 30 tablets so it will cost £3.39 for two packets including P&P (£1.70 per packet).
  • I find only the spray works for me in particualr beconase. However it is pricey at £6.90 in boots.

Does anyone know where you can get these cheaper or any cheaper alternatives?

You should be able to get it cheaper from your doctor.
A prescription if £6.65 but my doctor always gives me the large version of sprays e.g. 150 sprays whereas the ones you are buying are probably about the 50 size.

So buy 10 packets. And anything else you need at the same time.
