You could consider nasaleze.
It's a natural white powder which works like a barrier and stops pollen getting to your nostrils.
Some people have found it very good.
I personally haven't, but then it's not the same for everyone.
It's a natural substance and not a medication so I would have thought it would probably be OK for you although I am not a doctor.
It's tries to prevent the problem rather than cure it.
You can get it for £5.99 for https://www.chemist-4-u.co.uk0 -
Many Thanks for that, it's worth a go rather than putting up with hayfever symptons daily!0

I have hay fever from June to Aug every year, yet if I am on holiday abroad at this time I am free of all symptoms. This results in the problem being "forgotten" about until I get back home. On one trip I had to venture into a chemist shop (dodgy tum) and while there thought to ask if I could buy Piriton. The chemist after referring to a large book offered Chlorphenamine maleate (the active ingredient in Piriton) available to buy loose. Cutting to the chase, I bought a jar of 1000 tabs for about £5. Moral, Check out foreign pharmacy prices while you are on holiday you could save a packet.
P.S. I was in Bangok at the time but Spain, France, Greece, US, etc can all do the same.
So you were in Bangkok carrying a bag of 1000 tabs through customs  rubber gloves required? a fortnight in the cells while they check out your story. Then the same again when you come into Blighty. Oh and France is more expensive than UK for chemists, they are like the UK used to be 15 years ago.
Oh and what the hell are you going to do with 1000 piritons? they do go out of date you know.0 -

If you do this, then I would recommend sticking to western countries to obtain your medicines. In some places, counterfeiting is extremely commonplace (even with regular medicines rather than just illicit drugs) - you find this a lot in South American countries I'm told.
Also, buying tablets in jars (especially such a large quantity together), the tablets may be more susceptible to degradation as compared to the vacuum packed foil strips that are commonplace in this country now.
You may also find that the formulation of the tablets vary between countries (since some of the background ingredients or 'excipients' are banned in some countries) resulting perhaps in tablets that crumble easier, etc. which will add to the problem if you have 1000 tablets in one jar.0 -

Something else I forgot to mention was adequately pointed out by Wig. Even though you know what they are (or perhaps even you think you know what they are!), was there a label on this bottle? Will look highly suspicious either way if you get caught by customs officials... time to bend over!0 -
Bought 10 boxes of LORATIDINE (30 tabs) online from https://www.chemist-4-u.com for £14.90. They arrived within 2 days and the expiry date is May 2009.
This is a massive saving for me, I suffer from May right through to the end of September sometimes into October in certain years and I end up spending an absolute fortune.
Can I also say that this on-line service does e-mail you back to check what medecines you are taking already, so they are doing exactly the same as my local chemist.
I recommend them and thanks for the tip, Martin, it was one area I never considered saving money in because I feel so bad I'll usually pay anything just to get some relief from the symptoms.0 -
Reading your excellent article about the cheapest source of hayfever tablets, you mention Boots Galphram one-a-day packs (active ingredient Cetirizine dihydrocholride) for £1.25. We get ours from Lidl at £0.89p per pack of seven. Quite a saving if you have three sufferers in the one household. although I shall be trying Superdrug!!!!0

Not really the right forum but as this is likely to be read by Hay Fever sufferers, anyone know a cure for that horrible itchy roof of your mouth? My tablets sort out all the other symptoms but not that one. Thanks0

What I would really like to know is...(Sam...are you there?
) ..... will a similar Hayfever meds offer be on again for next summer 2007 from chemist-4-u ? Or shall I order some more Loratadine tabs now so that I have them in stock?
