If you dont have a Quidco account note they have an annual £5 charge. I brought one a while back and yes you can have it unlocked with a code. Would be also ideal as a trade in phone (£10 refunded) for a new phone if you decide you dont want it later on.0

You have to log in to your account, then look at the recon phones.
Bought mine through quidco and already shows that the item has been tracked
A very handy phone to have in the car should mine decide to die on me. Lawe :wave:0 -

Hiya folks just thought that i'd let you know that you can still get this phone the nokia 1101 for £22.50 with £25 credit if your a student or the siemens AX72 for £26.99 again with the £25 credit in it.
You can order it by web or phone but both require a student number to purchase but if it helps Abertay University, Dundee's numbers start 0305*** for a 2003 course start i.e. you have just finished 3rd year, 0405 for a 2004 entry and 0505 for this year and 0606 for what will be this years new entrants if this helps. So you could try a series of random digits afterwards.
The url to get direct to the student part of the site is http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/big_red_house/index.html without the quidco reference.
When on this page, go to the right hand side and chose the option for "If your a student click here" then scroll down to:-
How you get it
By phone
Call on 0845 6000 175 and quote ‘Virgin Student’ or your student ID number for all offers.
By web Buy right here, right now. No reconditioned phone offers here though. The "Buy right here, right now"[/COLOR] is the link on the page you want to follow to get you to the student discount phones.
If you want to try through quido, follow their link to the virgin website, then add the following without the quotes to the url "big_red_house/index.html" and it should take you to the student page, but im unsure if this will track the order, but even if it doesnt and you get an order accepted you are still better off and getting through quidco would just be an extra bonus.
Good luck and hope this helps. :rolleyes:0 -
Mine was delivered this morning. Excellent. Thanks.0

Mine just arrived. Really nice and basic, just whay you need. Bonus for me was that although you get a free sim, I had saved a virgin sim with £5 free on it, so this emergency phone has cost nothing and has "paid" me £5.51!!!!! :money::beer: Lawe :wave:0

This was available yesterday. The phone the thread is about was a recon they've now sold out.
See my post #6. I thought that if you were already a Virgin Mobile customer it would be more beneficial to go for this, as you got a £10 airtime voucher and a new phone rather than a reconditioned one.
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
