Well done, Morrison's.
What a ridiculous original post. And he even has the temerity to post it in the Consumer Rights section.0 -

Still at least the OP has been corrected in a rather forthright manner!.....0

And you were lucky to get one
I think your take the Mick expecting a refund on goods that arent faulty mealy because you found a better dealIt looks like the consensus here is that they don't have to refund me. That is fine. I accept that I have learnt a lesson the hard way. However, Tesco really have given me the refund without any fuss last time. It was more pleasant there. I think I will better shop there instead of Morrions in the future.0 -

It a bit odd, as our morrison has a 'Party Policy' thingy, when they will take back and refund unopened alcohol, if you buy too much for a 'do'?? Would have thought it would have been a company wide thing?
Must add, some comments on this board (not just this thread BTW) seem a bit 'harsh' Its fine that some of you DO know your rights but some people don't know any of their rights and ask for help. The OP said thank you for the help and accepted the outcome so don't see the need for words like 'ridiculous' to be used. Just to add, I am only ranting here, as I have read a few threads on this board and noticed it is a recurring problem.:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
Surely Morrisons do have to refund the OP if their terms and conditions do not state otherwise? If Morrisons give extra statutory rights, then those are part of the contract at the point of the sale. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0

You've never taken an item back because it's cheaper elsewhere or you've found a better alternative? Even if it's within your rights? You're either a liar, or a fool. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. No need to be rude.
Some people don't shop like that.
They hunt out the cheapest deal they can find quickly then buy it.
If they then find something cheaper they don't bother returning it or trying to return it due to the hassle involved costing them time and money - lots of people I know work over 10 hour days not including travel to and from work.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Champagne has a cork in, if it isn't stored properly it can be ruined. Most wine has a screw cap these days and so can be stored any which way. Other than fine or vintage wines, temperature is far less of an issue for wine as for champagne.
Wine is wine. Excess heat or cold will affect any wine, whether it's fine wine, cheap wine or sparkling wine.
Not sure what you mean by being able to store screw-cap wine 'any which way'. I'll agree that you don't need to lie it down as you do with a corked bottle as there's no cork to keep moist. But you can just as easily ruin the contents if you store it in direct sunlight, for example.0
