The only thing you may struggle with in a caravan is the size of the electricity supply. Check how much you can draw before you start plugging heaters in willy nilly, you may find yourself overloaded with a couple of heaters and an oven in use.0

Even on a caravan site the maximum price at which gas or electricity may be resold is the same price as that paid by the person who is reselling it ["the reseller"], including any standing charges. Maximum resale price also does not apply to the resale of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), either in cylinders or through bulk tank systems.
How is the electricity metered ?, or is it un-metered and sold by pitch weeks? Even pitch weeks are regulated at cost + admin + maintenance + 2% [ish] for inflation.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Richie, the electricity is metered, as is the gas which is supplied via bulk tanks, and your post explains, in all probability, why people on the park tell us to buy oil filled rads as the GHC is very expensive to use.0

I take it you mean 'sub-metered', as in .. .. you do not have your own meter point administration number) [MPAN].
In which case almost any electric resistive heater will do from infra through oil filled to bog standard panel heater / convector / fan heater. They're all much of a muchness and will each give precisely the same heat for a quid without creating secondary problems, so its down to preference and budget. The only other exception would be a wood burner, this unless you can get an everlasting supply of cheap hardwood, and be able to keep it dry is still not a cheap option.
Anything that has a decent adjustable thermostat will do. They do of course take up real estate in a van, but anything other than tube heaters will but come in many different shapes and sizes to accommodate the available wall space. Cheepo or more expensive price with controllers is a choice thing.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I am purchasing a 2nd floor flat that is about 23 years old and current system is partial electric storage heating that scored a 1 in an EPC and wanted to find out a bit more about your system that your selling and costs involved please. At present the insulation is poor in the flat 100ml of insulation in the roof.
The flat has double glazing but that was probably original installed glazing.
The size of the flat is 50m2
Dimesions of the rooms are as follows:
Bedroom One 9’10” x 9’1” 3 m * 2.77 m 8.31m2?
Bedroom Two 9’9” x 8’9” 2.97 m 2.67 m 7.92m2?
Lounge 12’6” x 11’0” 3.81 m * 3.35 m 13m2?
Hall 1.98 m * 1.96 m 4m2 ?
There is also an inefficient boiller cylinder that does not have a cylinder thermostat. I am not purchasing property till September but want to get a rough idea of what I should be doing to try and make the property more energy efficient and bring my 2nd floor (only 2 floors above ground) flat up to the 21st century. There is only 2 people in the flat. I will be out most of the day so just weekends and evenings.

You obviously have a kitchen and bathroom to heat as well - the dimensions you have given only account for 29m2 in a 50m2 flat.
Assuming you haven't got gas, storage heaters, for all their drawbacks, are the cheapest way of heating.1 -
Sorry I didnt mean it to be a sales quote, I was looking for some energy efficiency guide. I was looking at the rointe system and stumbled accross this and thought as others were able to offer advice I would ask.

In essence if I have understood this thread stay clear of expensive heating systems as they are probably not going to do much.
I dont have a lot of money and dont want to get conned or to do the wrong thing when it would have been easier to ask a question with folk who have experience and not looking to gain by advice if that makes sense

I should also say I dont have option of gas to connect to so need to be electric?0 -

Whoops I forgot that the estate agent figure is Kitchen 9’8” x 7’8” but from memory there is no heater in there and Bathroom 6’6” x 6’5”.
I think there is a storage heater in the hall (dont have measurements for that but its long thin and narrow). There is a storage heater in the hallway. I think there is a pannel heater in bedroom 1 and none in bedroom 2. If that makes any kind of sense and I cant remember if there is a bathroom heater although I would probably say there was not.0
