Hi, well done on money, I got my £100 from first direct last week, it was unexpected but very welcomed;). I'm having a much better day, I'm off tomorrow which is a bless, I'm so glad boss changed her mind (but this means I'm working on 31st :o). Also got £400 Xmas bonus-so this month is just getting better and better. Can't wait to finish work tonight, than just chill out and prepare for Xmas tmrw. Have a good day!

Woo hope u all had a lovely xmas! I got sooo much stuff, spoilt rotten! So shud keep me happy for a little while. (Fingers crossed this means until April lol!)

I won £5 on BB over the weekend too so yay on that! Spent too much aswell. Things are dire at the moment. I have £26 to last me the month in my current account and minus £100 in my old Natwest account – oops! On a plus note, I have a Samsung tocco and few bits to sell on ebay so hopefully will make enuf to bring my Natwest account back on track.

I got a coin counter jar for xmas. I am now using that as my sealed pot. I have £17 in there so far since the end of November – not bad considering. Could really do with using that to pay off something but no doubt it will be needed next xmas!

Still awaiting ppi refund from Barclaycard of £45 and charges rebate from catalogues although they are far from cooperating at the moment! Haven’t even received a list of the charges yet.

Got some good news re my claim over the weekend. The bus company have admitted liability so now have to go for a medical in mid January to have my injuries assessed. I really hope this doesn’t take too long to settle now. Before the summer would be nice!

Well done on the claim, hopefully they will offer you a nice sum.

I was quite good on the sales this time, £31 spent in H&M, £12 in Debenhams (much needed new sports bra), £42 in Next (i only buy my underwears there) and that's it. Received insurance money, plus Xmas bonus, plus won more than £100 on BB this month, so tmrw I'm going to make £900 overpayment on Lloyds loan. Also brought back this month's saving to where it should have been, and opened a new account with the name of "New York" as we decided to go to America for 2 or 3 weeks in September. We need to make the money as extra above our salary, so it's going to be tough.

How is the wedding coming along? We still can't agree, OH wants a small wedding, just the two of us, and money saving point of you I trully agree but still want the white wedding? It's driving me crazy, we've been engaged for more than a year and still no proper plans.

Brilliant news on the claim Keza! My accident happened in Feb 2008 and I was settled up in November 2008, but liability was confirmed quickly after the accident. I'm sure it was because he only passed his test the month before!!

Hey thats fantastic news on the overpayment! :T:T:j:j your doing so well! ur keeping me motivated, i was having a downer day today coz not go much money left :( but going to struggle thru.

our wedding plans are coming along slowly at the mo. to be honest my priority is the debt but savings will come along straight after hardcore when i have nothing left to pay off! :D

I have booked the cars, cake, flowers, photographers, save the dates sent out, most of the invites are made (just got to do the inserts). think most of it is going to need to be done in may ish

its always a ball roller when the dates been set, we took a few weeks to agree on a date. first i wanted 8.9.10 but OH sed that was too soon (agreed now lol), then suggested 1.10.10 then 10.10.10 but they were both booked, then we suggested 18.11.10 which is the date we started dating and we were going to book that but then saw that 12.11.10 (a countdown backwards!) was a friday nite so that settled it! :D:T

Cool date:). We're thinking more like May or September but don't think it will happen next year though:(. My brother is getting married on 24th July, so don't think we can ask our relatives to come for ours before or after. Aaah, anyhow at the moment I just don't care, having a pretty moody day...
