Hiya! no havent included any compo in this as i feel guilty about claiming (dont want to get into a compo debate on here mind!) so any thing i do get will just be a nice surprise that i can put away for a rainy day. i dont want to assume id get 'x' amount and base my debt clearing on that if u see what i mean
but yes i am persueing compo as i have been in a lot of pain
how bad was ur accident? its nice to talk to someone else whos had it for real rather than loads of fakers to be honest! xx
OMG - You HAVE to claim, it is not a hassle and will not be challenged. I have been a vicitm of a FAKE claim, yes the accident was my fault and yes I did have insurance and yes they paid out and yes my premium went up, but the people who made the claim DID NOT have whiplash and they even told me on the phone that their insurance company just did the claim automatically and even though they were not hurt in anyway, they were not going to turn down 1500 each! - and thats my rant over, back to clearing debt0 -

Hi Freefalling. im sorry to hear that. its those kind of people that make it difficult for those of us with it!
Mine is obvious, if u feel around my neck and shoulders u can feel the tight sensitive muscles so i kind of feel more comfortable about claiming knowing i have actually got it quite bad. nothing broken thou on the bright side!Current Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -

Thanks Keza, my target is to pay off Lloysd Loan which stands at £2548.91, plus save an extra £1000 per month. I don't want to pay off loan first as we are planning to buy a house and it can happen anytime between March and September,so will need to have the deposit ready, also paid off interest already on loan
. I earn £2374 a month after tax, and can save around a £1300-so £1000 towards savings, £300 towards loan-I need to raise somehow £800 in 6 months:eek:. Every extra I earn I throw towards the loan (after I made sure the 1K is on saving account), so my plan was to pay it back by originally end of June, but now beginning of May:eek: (end of loan agreement is 05/2011:eek:). It's a bit complicated, so far with OH we raised about £16.000 for house deposit, he contributed about 7K,rest is mine. So my target is £2548.91+6000=8.548.91 till end of May?

Forgot to mention that I am about £200 behind of my savings this month-so that's an extra £200,making it to £8748.91.
I won an extra £5 on BB-so far £25 profit.0 -
hiya kavics, that sounds like a decent plan! achievable with a bit of light work in places
we will keep each other motivated and pull each other back on the wagon if we fall off hehehe!
PAYDAY tomoro so cant wait for that! xxxCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
Hi Keza, I'm so afraid of doing it but I know I have to, I need to keep motivated myself. I sold an other item yesterday, so £140 goes on my bank account this morning, nearly catching up on the savings behind. Will update my signiture later on to put your challenge on it
.
No snow this morning, whatever happened with it last night? I was planning to get to work a bit late. Have a nice day!

Morning Kavics! nice one with the ebay sale! thats a nice chunk off the savings catch up!
We had 2 inches of snow last nite. only at work half day today so not too much hassle!
PAYDAY today so nice big payment of £120 off aqua, paid off empire £200, £80 owed to OH for heating bill and new wii and £105 off the food credit card.
Looking forward to another NSD today except a bit of food shopping but that dont count
Have a good day all! xxCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
Well done, Keza, doing well. I'm not getting my salary till the 30st which is ok-at least I don't count on it. Put £140 on bank account-was thinking whether top up savings or reduce loan, decided to top up- will wait till salary to do a sum lump on loan.
I might be really stupid but what are the coloured squares in your signiture about? Have been thinking but no answer-must get more sleep during the night...
