  • And I thought my challenge was pushing it ! (But proved, with enough determination, you can achieve insanity).

The very best of luck to you!! If you put your mind to sufficiently to something, you can achieve anything.

    Hi,
BB is good so far, I joined yesterday and won £25 today, so the £5 I deposited is back:).HOpe you'll be lucky too!
The £120 is for both of you or just for you? We're cutting back on everything as well but never come under £200 a month, something is wrong with our shopping lists and budget:confused:-though the £200 includes OH's lunch...
Good luck again, will read you diary with interest!

Hi Kavics17. Yep £120 is for both of us. including lunches!

Have you tried meal planning? i find this really really helps ! you know exactly what your going in for then!

We shop in Tescos. We got all excited when we got our xmas vouchers!

Admitidly, its rare for us to get 'luxuries' like fizzy drinks or icecream but we dont seem to mind. we tend to buy a sack of potatoes then mash or roast them and freeze them. they normally last us a couple of months. and we batch cook. Last nite i cooked a sausage casserole and split it into 4 separete portions and made a spag bol base which made 6 portions.

We will then use that for spag bol, chilli, cottage pie, pasta. the list is endless! xxxx

  • That's a challenge and a half. I shall definitely be watching and picking up tips.

    Wishing you tons of luck.

Yes,we have been mealplanning for years, never buy more than what we need. We shop in TEsco's too, I guess we spend too much money on fruits-1/3 of our shopping. We don't buy fizzy drinks either,or biscuits, it's just the basic staff, but still never manage to come under £50 a week. OH eats 1 box of Weetabix (chocolate one of course) per week, that might be the reason ? We don't drink alcohol, so that doesn't count either...I don't know,we don't buy the expensive staff mostly basic except Activia joghurt and Actimel drinks, that's our luxury...

When you receive your bonus it will says that you have cash and bonus seperately. As soon as you use up your bonus, and won, it will appear as cash, just withdraw it (you might need to deposit first to make it £20,than withdraw straight away). I might have not been very clear :rotfl:.Sorry:)
