well as i mentioned before i dont have any rent or household bills to pay just yet so about 85% of my monthly wage can be thrown at the debts. as for the other chunk, i get a child endowment paid out in march which i have been paying (well my parent have paid half!) for the last 10 years or something. then i hope to get a bonus from work in March to clear off the last bit.

All this along with some ebaying old tote, and free scratchcards and good old fashioned boot sales!

Not imposible but quite a challenge. and im throwing all the effort i can at it! xxx
Ah. I was here to find out how to make big money :)
Oh well, back to the drawing board for me then.

I posted earlier but went away and thought about it! I have £9K to clear too, but at best could pay it off by Dec 2010! Are you getting compo from your accident?! Just asking, as I was involved in an accident last February and received compo as I wasn't at fault (and injured) and by the sounds of it you could get a good pay-out from the bus company! Best of luck if you do, mines took about six months to come through, so would be good timing to pay off by April :D

Hiya! no havent included any compo in this as i feel guilty about claiming (dont want to get into a compo debate on here mind!) so any thing i do get will just be a nice surprise that i can put away for a rainy day. i dont want to assume id get 'x' amount and base my debt clearing on that if u see what i mean :) but yes i am persueing compo as i have been in a lot of pain :( how bad was ur accident? its nice to talk to someone else whos had it for real rather than loads of fakers to be honest! xx

I felt guilty about claiming too, but heard of others who had (and faked it) and thought I might as well. TBH it wasn't that bad, had a bit of whiplash and was sent to physio/doctor etc. (at request of 3rd party end), the doctor mentioned people who fake it, but when I seen him he put in his report that I was genuine, think because I didn't sit there pretending to be in pain (months later), he could tell. I got a nice sum, more than I expected to be honest, it more than covered me for injury, inconvenience and terror everytime someone drove to close to me (the guy ran into the back of me)!

Make the most of whatever you get, I paid most towards my debt  If you're anything like me, I never want to have to claim again i.e. don't want another accident!

yeah i know wot u mean, i havent been on a bus since. they just drive like maniacs and it puts me on edge which in turn tightens my muscles up again!

Ive had pain eveyday for almost 13 weeks. it was severe for the first 2 weeks, i was on perscription painkillers so the physio could actually start to do something (the pain was too much and i was in a vicious circle)

Luckily after physio 2 times a week, this moved to once a week then i didnt go for a couple of weeks as he said it would start to heal itself but as soon as it was left, it started up again. i cant drive long distances as the pain occurs most then.

Im in a bit of pain this morning from this treatment i had last nite (which was horrendous!) but fingers crossed it will work in the long run! xx

I think I might join you in the challenge but to pay off remaining loan and save up the rest in 130 days? Hmmm... Can I join? Although I still have to think this through whether I would be able to do it. Have you signed up for BingoBritain yet?

Don't feel bad about insurance claim, I had it once as well-did get a bit of money, not much though but it was more than nothing.

yeah of course! we can be support for each other. i think its best to find an achievable target then add a little bit on top so u feel fantastic if you reach what you think is achievable but even better if u smash the bit extra!

I set a target to get my virgin card down to £4,250 by end of december and ive managed to get it down to £4205 so far with a few weeks still to go! :T its so motivating to think 'yes ive reached this goal, now onto the next stage'!

I joined BB a few nights ago, still not won anything yet. I saw someone win 4 times last night while i was playing. some people have all the luck
