Then why not say u get bus or something lol get more.
That is based on getting the bus. They do it on the cheapest possible method. So they say i can theoretically get the bus, even though i would miss half my lectures so they pay me the cost of a bus pass minus £167 or whatever it is these days they take off everyones claim. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Just a wee joke0 -
I don't really see getting called 'a certain square' (which I am presuming it was me you were referring to, especially when named in the further post) as 'a wee joke'. Whatever, though.0

Yes I have, have you seen the price of train and/or bus fares? It's hardly cheap and going up all the time.
I believe it to be fraud to claim for something you haven't actually used or to claim for more than you have used. This is why I wish SAAS would carry out more checks into this sort of thing.0 -
I think you should get a life tbh stop worrying about what saas do. I still have to get to college everyday and it still costs either method, The more money students can claim back on any application the better and im sure alot would agree with me rather than your stupid more checks comment.0

I have a life, thank you. I still have to get to university every day, it costs me a lot of money and I'm grateful that I get anything at all. Students should claim for what they have actually spent, and what they will spend. If you don't think fraud is wrong then that is your prerogative, but I think you'd be in the minority.0

From what I've heard mine is pretty abnormal, I don't know whether something has gone wrong...
Applied for £1000
Says it accepted the maximum, minus the individual contribution.
Then it says that income assessed contribution is an astonishing £800 odd.
Leaving me with a wooping £14!!! I'm so annoyed at the moment, I live with my parents but I work the entire weekend, 8 hour shifts on Saturday/ Sunday and 4 hours on Friday in order to pay for my travel and car maintenance.
I was looking forward to reducing my hours so I didn't need to cover petrol on the run up to my exams, expecting at least £400 odd.
Am I just being irrational or silly with this expectation? I feel like I'm victimized because my parents had a high income last year, but since then my dad has been made redundant and my mum has had to support us on a nurses salary (of about 20,000).
Anyone have any advice? Is this appealible?0
