    ((hugs)) for TAG
Triker ((big hug)) it's easy to loose faith sometimes honey, but lovely when some restore it x
pigpen no loft here :D suppose got to be pleased about that occasionally, we have the garage but it is tidy too :) yay......
Penny I was stunned how 'flat' East Yorks was, amazed in fact
carol hope you have a lovely evening
ffp hope your buggy gets home ok. Mine is similar to pigpens CBH but I make it with chicken stock (or veg if no chicken) & add broth mix, sometimes extra barley for bulking out. Swede is nice in it too. I fill the 6.5 litre slow cooker. Oh it's wonderful (but unhealthy) with dumplings or just a torn off piece of warm crusty bread mmmmm, I must make some soon.
JillD it's lovely you are all still in contact
rosep unforunately being at the lowest financially is more & more common, we're in the same pool, have you enquired about housing cost/council tax benefit if he is on JSA?

Just sent a snotty email to Thorntons, placed another order which was supposed to arrive tomorrow.....so they email just before they closed to ask for a copy of the details for the boxes as there had been an error. So one email sent (noone answered the phone....closed...grrr) which says if it won;t arrive on time for Christmas I don't want it. Grrrr. I can see me ending up needing to go shopping before Chrimbo for presents as I am waiting for several deliveries. Unsure if the boys will be at school tomorrow, been a bit of snow but main problem is ice. It all depends if school is open. We have appointment as parents on the afternoon so fingers crossed the snow naffs off & noone cries off. I am still up as DP is out at work and I worry :o

New suite now being delivered between xmas and new year, they wanted to deliver Tuesday but we said no, I have way too much to do & won't be able to get anyone wanting the old one by then so they are looking at schedule & ringing Monday.

Right dog out, uniforms out & bed. Hugs to all x x x
One day I might be more organised...........

But, a lovely shop assistant said hang on I've got a spare week 5 receipt for you, so I got my week 6 shopping and receipt and the lovely lady gave me the other and I got my £25.00 voucher.:T

I think I'll buy her some flowers as a thank you, how sweet was she to do that.

Triker, I think, I would do the same...

    Morning

Ooooo that wind blowing outside sounds nasty! No snow here though!

Miss Tag is fine. Apart from sneaking into bed with me at 3.00am cos she was cold. So we had a snuggly and I warmed her up. DD1 stayed over last night and is going to take her to school for me this morning. ;) I'll leave 'him' to wonder!;)

Right I must get ready for work. Not looking forward to driving that van today I can tell you

Hugs all around where needed. I'll catch you all later! xxx

Well, we missed most of the snow...just a light dusting here, but the wind sounds bitterly cold....not looking forward to the school run. Hope the car starts later, when I need it to do the final bits and pieces of my xmas shopping...otherwise, I'll be off to Argos for a battery charger (once the very nice man from the AA has started it....).

Anyway, flying-wise I haven't done much this week - have been feeling really run down and as a result I have conjunctivitis in both eyes. Not fun.

DS had his developmental assessment yesterday, no problems there, everything is fine. Why do they catch you out by asking how you are? I'm OK if people don't ask....so, burst into tears, then was on the receiving end of much sympathy and 'kind talking' (which, in all honesty, made it worserer). I'm OK really, it's just a combination of SAD, Christmas, exhaustion and quite a lot of 'putting myself last' (which I am no longer allowed to do - HV said so!).

And I've got to go back if it doesn't improve - I had PND following the birth of my DD, which wasn't picked up for almost a year (I kept telling them I was coping, when I quite obviously wasn't, and I kept refusing any help ).

Anyway, the best thing to do is keep busy, but not overtax myself...over the next five days or so I'll be tackling the entire list for this week....

Hope everyone is OK - sending hugs to all, and hoping that the snow isn't too bad where you are.
    Take care
    D

No snow here this morning. Though we're forecast a little bit. I shall dress down for work today and go in trainers just in case. The town gets scared the moment a snowflake falls and stops buses and stuff.

Just listening to the radio - apparently Hertsfordshire and Suffolk are quite bad with the snow with jack knifed lorries. Be careful out there people.

    Piggers - I like today's list!

Pigpen!! I have an image of you sitting in a dark room, on a big leather chair, stroking the cats while watching a lot of dots running around on a giant screen like headless chickens (or turkeys) and laughing hysterically in a deep voice! Think Bond Villian and you'll get an idea of where I'm coming from! Attics....garage....weekend work? I've a good mind to start a revolution :D:D:D

Busy day looking at this lot, got counselling this morning - hope it goes ok and I don't end up the usual shaking wreck afterwards - doesn't seem fair when I'm on form but its certainly making a difference. Hopefully I'll end up with the tools to keep my depressions from the door permanently ;)

Better get shifting - love to all, especially Toots and Lady-L, hope you are both taking it easy and keeping warm. :A:A
