Had me bath and off to bed now.

Toots - No I still haven't done my cards. Last day at work for me tomorrow so I'm hoping I'll be able to 'get my head' round flying properly over the weekend. That said. I did DS bedroom today so that's one room and bed less for me to do.

Off to read me book. Catch you all tomorrow.

    Nite xxxxx

I have a NEW IRONING BOARD

My old one (bought as a gift in 1984 when I was setting up my first home ;)) has 'gone', the 'foot' has been slowly detaching from the leg and is, quite frankly, dangerous SO DD and I went to Mr. Ms and I remembered to look at the ones they had there. Well, I settled on the expensive Minky (£19.99) as opposed to the cheaper own brand (and smaller) - whether they are cheaper in Argos or wherever I don't care because I could park near the shop IYSWIM.
Anyhoo of the two they had, well, one had damaged packaging and a scuff on the frame and the other had a slightly marked cover. Homewares guy was shelf filling so I asked if they'd any more and they hadn't - he couldn't reduce as his boss wasn't there to authorise said reduction BUT he offered me a replacement cover for free (approx £4.00) - Deal done! So we bought the one with the 'slightly' marked cover.

Got home and unwrapped it and DD started taking off the slightly marked cover - whoa! I shouted - I'll save that new one for when this one NEEDS replacing!;)
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Just back from DD's concert at the high school. I'm so proud of her! She managed all her pieces really well. At the end she had to go on stage for the encore. There were about 100 children from years 7 to 6th form and there was my little (actually, very grown up) year 6. She loved it.

Quick s/s and i'm off to bed.

    Hugs triker and tag xx

Toots - it could be her teeth or she could just be a nutter!:rotfl:xx

That's excellent Mudders - you must be one proud Mum! Maybe you've learnt something there - perhaps your daughter works best under pressure....Bear it in mind for the future
