Pigpen!! I have an image of you sitting in a dark room, on a big leather chair, stroking the cats while watching a lot of dots running around on a giant screen like headless chickens (or turkeys) and laughing hysterically in a deep voice! Think Bond Villian and you'll get an idea of where I'm coming from! Attics....garage....weekend work? I've a good mind to start a revolution :D:D:D

Actually I am usually slobbed on my bed wrapped in a duvet with lappy on lap.. and the cats sit on OH lol

The original plan for today was to drop OH off at work, get some shopping in while the supermarket was quiet and then fly when I got back before picking him up at lunch, going to the home and going out this evening. However, I can't get the car off the drive, I think it had grown ice skates over night and wanted to play instead so the first 2 things have not happened. I also need to pick my car up from last night but I need to wait for gritters I think. I have salted the drive and am waiting to see if I can get out later.

Hi all, well after staying up until 3am to get my Boots S and G hat box...success, now up to take DD1 in to her course with all her baked goodies.

She did really well and iced all her homemade biscuits beautifully, I'll try to post a piccy later...very proud Mum here.:D

DD2 has insisted on going to school on foot even though I offered to take her...heart of a lion that one.

Then on to work to hopefully pick up my parking pass so I can get to my office.:j

Hubbys works do tonight, have nothing to wear and actually dunno if I can be ar%ed to go....best had though, its all paid for.:o

Hope everyone has a safe day in the snow and ice.

Im off to my cousins this morning with cards and presents. Will do a bit shopping when I get back and make a chilli. Last day of sponsored slim on Monday so making a big effort this week.

Toots Take care and big hugs.

    Stay safe and warm everyone.
  • Sat here feeling very ungrateful :o
Just opened a present - and wondering what the giver was thinking.
She is normally known for choosing just the right thing, but I am looking at a 'knitted and sequin' bag far smaller than anything she has ever seen me use and in a colour that doesn't go with any of the 'evening' stuff she knows I wear.

I am trying to imagine a scene in which she picked it up and thought "That would be perfect for *** "
  • Happy Birthday Crafty :bdaycake:Enjoy lunch with your friend xx
Still quite a bit of snow here but I think the road are OK. I really need to nip out and get some food shopping in. I also want to nip to Boots to get that Soap and Glory special. I was just going to order online, but the site is down :( Have also got some scabby rags to pop into the clothes recycling thingy and that is beside Boots, so I can get rid of them (they have been on my bedroom floor for about 4 months :o)

Best move myself. Wrap up warm and make the most of the snow for those of you that it is a treat for, Jill and family esp DS, Dusty and family :D

    SSL xx
