REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.
Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.
Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.
We should've known…... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-!!! man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.
A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Soappie - me and cookery books don't get on!!! Though ordered yesterday ecconomy gastromony (sp) book yesterday . I'm good with the basics and do mostly 'comfort' food stuff though do a mean chilli and lasagne just haven't used this cut before so was stumped. I thought because it's a bit fatty that it might be like shin beef and would break down in cooking and make a good gravy, but I've been proved wrong again! To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0

Can't do quoting malarky so this is what Toots put:
carlsberggrannan DD1 -are you looking for stocking fillers? tights, stockings, nail polish, make-up, skin care stuff, cd, dvd, underwear, slippers, purse, make-up bag, toilet bag, perfume, address book, filofax, mobile phone cover, gloves, scarf, pj's, dressing-gown, smelly candles, book, magazine subscription, pretty cushion, pen, belt, t-shirt, mug, handbag - any of that help?
Hi my lovely TOOTS, she only wanted loads of bits so have got:
dressing gown
pj bottoms x 2 she doesn't do normal nightwear, more like mens bottoms and a t shirt
gloves
massive nail varnish kit thingy - larger than a BIG selection box
body/face bronzer
gloves
new Martina Cole book
photo frame
book mark - sounds pathetic but it's a lovely crystal one
white chocolate as she loves it
necklace
She's done her bedroom this year so has new cushions etc, does designer hanbags really so out of the question for the money that's left, very fussy with clothes - she has to be there. Can take her half an hour just to try on a pair of jeans, nightmare to go shopping with!!!! Knickers - her best friends mum works for a company that supplies La Stenza so has around 50 pairs of knickers!!!! Candles would be good but she nearly set the house on fire the other month (never told you) as the candle was on her bedside taable alight and she fell asleep and turned and the duvet caught fire!!!!
We spend around a £100 on them - far too much really now they are adults, kids things seem to cost a fortune Mudders £650 guitar spring to mind with the other parent?!! Will have a word with her boyfriend as he has been told 'bits' as well so we don't duplicate cds or dvds. Thanks for all the ideas though - what a star you are, couldn't of thought of them in months never mind a few minutes!!! xxxTo love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0 -
I take it back.....
I'm STRESSED!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
DD has just told me that she's in a concert on Friday morning and has three pieces of music that she doesn't know. She's had them two weeks. She can't practise tomorrow because she's in a concert at school in the morning and then again in the evening!:eek::eek:
Options:
- let her have the day off school so she's just not there (she'll also miss all the last day fun and I'll miss the last free day I was counting on to get things finished).
- send her. She'll never forget to practise again!
The problem is that although I can play the piano these would take me at least a week to suss out and help her with....they're hard! Dozy bug*er :rotfl::rotfl:toottifrootti wrote: »REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME

And I might even do the utility cupboard as everything I don't have a home for goes in them?To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0
