I don't think Pigpen should give in... given the state of your attic, I really think you should make a start :p

    Thanks :D:D

They look fantastic!!! but I can see why you couldn't dissolve the sugar in condensed milk... grateful will know I'm sure, but isn't it already a super-saturated solution?? :D
I know but DH wont let me throw anything away - last time I was up there with DD and said about chucking stuff I was met with "you cant throw that away it was my grandmothers handbag" - I turned to her and said - "you gonna use it then" and got a "well no but" reply :rotfl:

And its weird when I was making it I thought I cant see how this can absorb any more sugar as from my science lessons a LOT of years ago I know you get to saturation point with both salts and sugars. Perseverance paid off in the end :D

Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Soappie. Yes they took it seriously. Seemed to think it starnge that after wearing it for 7 years its suddenly gone. Also the fact she was so upset last week and trying to tell me something.

I'm glad - let's hope they find the perp. Even if the missing things aren't returned, whoever has done this is despicable in my book. If you are caring for elderly, confused people, you need to be above reproach and treat them with the dignity they deserve - not as an opportunity to do petty thieving simply because they might not be that lucid...

Greenbee - I actually gave DD the choices (because I don't really want to sit through a 2 hours concert where DD is playing for 15 minutes - naughty I know!). She has chosen to work like crazy because she realises it's her fault. She's just spent an hour now and really worked hard and can now play two of them....I got her to teach me one which really inspired her to sort it out!

She's going to do one in the morning before school and then is being taken by her junior head teacher to the high school for practise tomorrow morning as they feel she can miss school to go there and practise (they're only watching DVDs). I'm proud of her for trying even though I could marmalize her for not doing them! I've got a headache!

    Kids!!!!:rotfl:

Oh well, i've got Friday back for wrapping and organising a school party for 250 children (and I'm pleased about that?????!?!??:rotfl:)

Sorry for the stress head rant earlier :oxx
